The Last Honest Pizza stands for quality. Our dough is rolled fresh and made from wheat grown on family farms. We take pride in our whole-​milk mozzarella, aged cheddar cheeses, and smoked provolone.

At Round Table, we’ve enjoyed a heritage of creating high quality, innovative pizzas since the establishment of our founder Bill Larson’s first Round Table pizza parlor in Menlo Park, California in 1959.

Round Table Pizza South Tacoma is owned by Lance and Karrie Hungerford. Lance discovered his passion for serving great pizza and his community in 1987. Lance opened the Pearl Street Round Table Pizza on Oct 2^nd, 1987. Although he was only 21 when he opened the store, it was the culmination of years of dreaming. The money to open it came from years of savings from lawn mowing jobs, paper routes and a sandwich shop job. No previous pizza jobs, however. Most of the money to build the store came from a huge loan from the landlord. All of the tables and counters were built by Lance, his handy mom and two friends from college who had not found jobs yet. Once open, the landlord was paid with credit cards and money that should have been used to pay the cheese supplier on time. Fortunately, the restaurant was very busy when it opened, so the cheese supplier got paid.
