Pintos Overhead Doors

My garage door collapsed and had to be propped open, leaving me feeling very vulnerable. The first place I called said it would be two weeks before they could replace it. I found Pintos on Unilocal.They came out the same day, gave me an estimate, and scheduled replacement for the next day. They arrived just when they said they would, and replaced the door in about two hours. I am so relieved and pleased with the professionalism, speed, quality and price of my Pintos experience.

Hector and Laura did a spring conversion for my broken garage door. They did a great job and get the job done fast. Their price was very reasonable and also came back again helping me fixed a broken trolley that I ordered the replacement part online free of charge. I will go to them if I ever need garage door service again in the future. Thanks!

After unsuccessfully trying to schedule service appointments with a few other garage door repair companies I found Pintos Overhead Doors through Unilocal.They were very quick to respond and I was able to get an appointment time that worked with my schedule. They not only repaired my damaged door but installed a new door opener all in about 1 hour. The Pintos were very professional and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

My garage door was stuck in the open position and I had no idea who to call. I found Pintos Overhead Door on Unilocal and gave them a call. They had no reviews, so I was a little hesitant. I spoke with Laura, who was very accommodating of my need to have them come out that same day. She clearly explained what the cost would be over the phone before we confirmed the appointment.
Laura and Hector arrived on time, maybe even a little bit early, were professional and courteous. They got my garage door working very quickly and explained what the problem was.
Excellent service and work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality work with very fair pricing.

Another garage door spring broke — this one on a double wide door. After finding my old invoice, I gave Pintos Overhead Doors a call in the late evening. The return answer was prompt the next morning — they’d be over in the late afternoon. They were on time and replaced both springs for the double wide door. The cost was very reasonable. The bonus was the looked over the door they repaired last year, performed some maintenance, including lubing cables, and tested both doors.
I hope we won’t need to, but I will not hesitate to contact Pinto’s again.

COMPLETE FLAKES in my opinion.
I called them on the Company phone number listed to buy a piece of equipment they posted on Craigslist. I spoke to Laura and we agreed on a price, and made an appointment for me to drive the 50 miles to pick it up at the Company address «in about an hour» to give her time to run an errand.
About 3 hours later I called back to confirm and was told «I’m sorry I should have talked to my husband first. He has a friend that is willing to give us another $ 50 for the item.» and «I’m sorry but if I sell it then I will be in the dog house with my husband».
WHAT??? NO integrity, apparently NO communication between spouses, and I believe anyone that does business this way, (changing their mind AND their story for $ 50 MEASLY DOLLARS (WITHOUT HAVING THE GUTS TO MAKE A COURTESY CALL AND EXPLAIN THEMSELVES) should NOT be trusted!!!
Can’t get an answer on the phone. Voice mail box is full. Wasted half a day and gas for nothing. I don’t care if their stinking garage doors are gold plated I wouldn’t trust them. BUYER BEWARE

Quick, but thorough. And a great price! They even came the same day I called. If and when I need more garage repairs I will be calling them! They even helped me program the remotes to the garage with no extra charge.

Really outstanding service and quality. Our garage door broke on Sunday and we needed a new one right away. My husband went to Lowe’s Monday morning, who told us it would be 2 weeks to a month to install. That would never work. We use our garage door as our primary entrance point and needed it done right away. I started looking around online and came across Pintos and 4 other locals companies. Laura answered the phone and was very responsive. She provided quotes by text and answered every question thoroughly. All of the other companies were higher priced and at least a week out. We decided to go with Pintos and could not be more pleased. They came out the same day, (arrived 6 minutes early), and measured. This morning they went and picked up the door and came to put it in. The installation was easy and smooth. Hector’s craftsmanship was awesome and he is a knowledgable professional. He sealed it up and installed it clean, straight, and sturdy. (I’m sure this is a standard — but you didn’t see what we had before!!). Bottom line, my garage feels well insulated, the door opens quietly and smoothly, and the process was QUICK — 24 hours from quote to install!!! They warranty their work and I’m very thankful for finding them. If you need a garage door, repair, or service, spend your money with Pintos. You will be happy that you did.

Exceptional Company
Being a licensed home inspector I see many improper or shoddy garage door installations. This sure was not the case with Pintos Overhead Door. Not only was the quality excellent, the customer service was as well. The price was well below other local competitors.
Pintos Overhead doors is now on my list of preferred vendors that I recommend to clients. They are the only garage door company I will do business with from this point forward. Personal experience is still the best barometer of a business.
