I had been thinking if getting my nostril pierced for quite some time, and finally decided to do it. I was a bit nervous because I hadn’t had a new piercing in a really long time. But I told myself, «You gave birth to a beautiful baby. You can handle 3 seconds of pain.» So I walked in. Jake is super professional and kind! The studio is very clean and everything used is sterile. The piercing was quick and barely experienced any pain. I felt lightheaded afterwards because of the adrenaline and Jake was kind and knew just what to do. He let me take my time getting up. I felt better fairly quickly. I’m looking forward to future piercings by Jake. Highly recommended!

Walked in today and got my tongue pierced ($ 60) by Jake. I only had to wait a few minutes while he finished up with another client and he acknowledged me as soon as I came in which I appreciate. He was super nice and very knowledgeable.

The man who owns the place is so nice. I went in without an appointment and he took me right back. I needed some new jewelry for a triple helix. The top of my helix had closed. He didn’t charge me to repierce. I also wanted a new stud for my tragus piercing and he threw that in for free. For all 4 studs and a repierce it only cost me $ 60. Not to mention it’s a clean shop!!! I’ll definitely be recommending it to people I know. Bring cash though, he doesn’t take cards. There is a Wells Fargo right across the street.

My roommate and I went here because of the Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed. He is very professional, and is fantastic at what he does. I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to get a piercing done. He answered all of our questions (there were a lot) without being rude or condescending. His prices are reasonable, and he has a great selection of jewelry.
As someone who has only ever gotten tattoos, and never any piercings other than my ears, I was very pleased with the experience. His studio is incredibly clean and he reads Tolkein, so how much better can you get? I will definitely be returning for future piercings.

Jake did my nose piercing. I had my nose done previously at a different shop and had such a terrible experience. But my experience with jake was awesome. He is professional, educated on piercings and friendly. Shop was very clean and I watched him sterilize all the equipment.

I’m visiting from California, and decided to get my nipples pierced. I wasn’t nervous about the piercings, but exposing my breast. He made me feel extremely comfortable. He reassured me everything was going to be fine. If I ever move to WA he will be my go to piercer!

I had noticed that this place opened up a couple weeks ago, but I never stopped in because there’s only one person I’ll let poke holes in me, and that’s Jake. Well, I called his old shop to see if he was in, and as luck would have it, North Cove is Jake’s new shop! I have so many great stories about this guy, I could go on forever. I’ve been working with him for over ten years. He is extremely sterile, careful, and precise. He will be honest with you about wether or not a piercing is possible, when you should give up on it, etc. Some people may not like that if it means they can’t get a piercing they want, but he’d rather have it heal nice and look good than just do it for the money. The only thing is he’s cash only, which I almost always forget.

I have been wanting to get my rook pierced as it had been awhile since I had a piercing and so I called Jake at his previous location to find that he had opened his own shop!
Driving up, I was impressed with the location of the shop, on the 6th Ave strip but not in the congested area and parking was plentiful. Walking up the shop is simple and quaint, perfect for the service you are wanting to get!
This review can be an update and/​or an addition since Jake now has his own spot, as I’ve raved about him and services when he was at the previous location. He does amazing work, is very sterile and informative and just all around great at what he does!
Congrats on your shop Jake!!! You totally deserve it and ROCK!

I kind of decided on a whim that I wanted to get my nose pierced. And being that I just moved to this area a little over a month ago, I had no idea where to go. I talked to a girl I met here and she recommended Jake.
I did a little research on him (ok, I Googled him), and I saw all these really good reviews. I gave him a call, and he said his afternoon was open.
I literally could not be any happier about my whole experience. His shop is very clean, and he pays great attention to all the fine details of keeping it that way. He has an awesome personality as well. Very welcoming, and more than happy to answer any and all questions.
I was able to hang around a bit after and chat with him some. He’s a great guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for their next piercing.

My friend and I went to North Cove last week to get our noses pierced. I had my septum done and my friend had her nostril pierced. All I can say is, we have both been to our fair share of piercing studios and North Cove was by far the best experience we have ever had. Jake maintained absolute professionalism while also being very friendly and easy going. I too, like a previous reviewer said, never leave Unilocal reviews but I felt so inclined to leave one because of the fantastic service Jake provided. Thank you so much Jake, my friend and I are both extremely happy with our piercings!

Jake is great! I went there to swap out some jewelry before an MRI. He impressed me with his knowledge and attention to cleanliness and detail. He initially refused to take money, since I was going to return to buy jewelry from him. When I returned asking him to reinsert my old ring, he was gracious and still took time to chat with me. He didn’t even want to accept a tip, but did, after I insisted.
This shop is very clean and Jake is very smart and sweet. I probably won’t be getting anything pierced in the future because I’m old, but if I did, I’d definitely go there.

Jake is the best! He’s always professional and I recommend anyone that is looking to get pierced to him. I’m not exactly sure how long he’s being doing it but I know it’s been more than ten years. He’s so knowledgable and gracious. I wish I had a picture to post!
