Established in 2013.

Mynx Aesthetik came about in February of 2013 when I was working for a large Skin Care company as an Educator. I loved working for that company. It was a lot of fun, and the salary I was paid for my job was great, though I traveled all the time and missed out on a lot of family and friend time. At the end of February 2013, I was notified that my position was being «dissolved» and that I would be paid a 1 month salary severance. This of course came as quite a shock, and I had to go through a mourning phase.

Three days later, I decided that it was all a blessing in disguise. I was going to use this as an opportunity to take a leap of faith and start my own business where I would no longer rely on someone else for my paycheck. I was ready to make or break myself, to design my own future. Mynx Aesthetik opened on April 10^th, 2013 and has been growing and thriving, serving North Tacoma with affordable, high end skin care, treatments, Lashes and waxing

I have always been passionate about Skin care and good nutrition. You must feed your skin from the inside and supplement (with beneficial products) the outside, much like taking a multivitamin. As an Esthetician, I feel it is my responsibility to share the knowledge that I have gained over years of experience working in the field of Natural Health and Beauty. My goal is to have every client leave my care, having learned something about their skin, and feeling that they have received a wonderful service, worth more than what they’ve actually paid.
