Gentle, low-​stress, quality grooming at your home or office! We come to your in our fully equipped, self-​contained mobile grooming salon– all we need is a flat place to park. Please see our website for a map of our coverage area– we service Tacoma and the surrounding area, including Fircrest, University Place, Federal Way, Fife, Puyallup, etc.

Knotty Dog Grooming provides a full range of grooming services for dogs, including bathing, deshedding, hand-​drying, nail clipping/​filing, and haircuts. We have lots of experience with breed standard clips, as well as fun personality styles for mixed-​breed dogs.

We don’t have cages or kennel dryers, and we’re licensed, insured, and first-​aid/​CPR certified for your peace of mind. We’re happy to groom misunderstood pets and pets that have trouble in a traditional grooming salon.

History

Established in 2014.

Knotty Dog Grooming is CPR/​First-​Aid certified, as well as licensed and insured for your peace of mind. We keep up on continuing education and grooming trends by attending seminars frequently.

Business Owner

Knotty Dog Mobile Grooming is owned/​operated by Kaitlin Cone. Her love of animals blossomed when, at the age of 12, she got her first Bernese Mountain Dog. She proceeded to show dogs as well as work in a grooming salon throughout her teen years. Her experience includes over 10 years of handling dogs in AKC Conformation events, being a 4-​H Dog Project Leader, as well as over 6 years of all-​breed pet grooming in the South King County area. For the past 5 years Kaitlin worked at Dog Spaw 2 Hour Grooms, and was part of the team that earned «Best Grooming in Washington» 2 years in a row!

Kaitlin prides herself on her attention to detail, spotless van, continuing her education, and conducting business with honesty and integrity. She truly loves what she does! When Kaitlin is not grooming, she likes to make pottery. She lives in downtown Tacoma with her husband David and two cats, Darwin and Violet.
