Description

Specialties

I believe in the artistry and mastery of what I do. I don’t just color, cut and style hair, I strive to make each strand of hair workable, pliable and the most extraordinary strand of hair it can possibly be. I take pride in making sure that my clients hair is beautiful and graced with the best ingredients possible to ensure it is in its best condition. Hair isn’t what I do, it is my medium of creativity, artistry and enlightenment. Indigo is where I make this happen.

History

Established in 2012.

I began my journey as a hairstylist after graduating from Clover Park Technical College in October of 2008, got my start at Embellish Multispace Salon, quickly became an educator for Davines and moved on to work on my own here at Indigo in November 2012.

As an educator, I travel to other salons sharing what I know and love about Davines. I taught my first class in December of 2010, have grown to be a Level 2 educator with the help and training I’ve received through Davines and Salon Services and hope to continue move higher in the ranks, grow as an educator and aid others in knowing what it means to be part of such an amazing, ever growing company with the goal of being the most sustainable and beautiful company.

Meet the Business Owner

Susan P.

Business Owner

Discovery and expression of one’s true self is important. My mission is to help those that are in search of self discovery and expression find who they are, who they want to be and move in a healthy direction of growth and understanding of self. Hair, skin and body are the basis of our outer expression. It is within me to help my clients express who they are through the artistry of what I do.

It is my goal to provide a healthy, earth friendly and all encompassing space that fosters a feeling of acceptance, love and expression of one’s own true self. It is within Indigo’s future to develop an internship program for stylists who have recently graduated from school, to be heavily involved in the growth of the community, will support other locally owned and operated small businesses and will strive to be an important part of what it means to live, work and love being in Tacoma.
