Grit City Tattoo

This gem is tucked away in Sanford and Sons. The shop is clean and the owner, artist Derek is amazing. When adding permeant ink to your body you want an artist that can get into a flow, is detail oriented with a touch of OCD. I wanted a Mandela tattoo on my foot. Derek looked at the Mandela styles I liked and drew my custom Mandela. We talked about placement, I ask him to place it where he thought it would look the best. During my tattoo Derek talked me though the painful spots, and was observant and ask if I needed a break often.
