I love small businesses and the owner was extremely attentive and nice. Place is very clean and tidy. Many topping options, as well as about 10 flavors of froyo. Even protein powder which was amazing! She signed me up for five star and I’ll def come back on my next visit. THANKS!

This is my favorite place for a creamy treat. I stumbled upon this place on a «Five Dollar Friday» special, and now I find myself going back all days of the week. The staff is so friendly and helpful. My favorite thing about this froyo shop is that the topper counter is nice and high so you know little hands are not getting into any of it. The place is always super clean and everything is always well stocked. They offer a rewards card for frequent visitors and always leave you with a smile. The owner is so sweet and spends time getting to know her customers.

Tasty and reasonably priced FroYo. Convenient to the revitalized section of Tacoma, near the museums. Lots of frozen choices and good selection of add-ons.

Seriously amazing! My favorite fro yo place. They have so many great toppings and flavors that accommodate gluten free and dairy free needs. They have the standard favorites and some unique things as well! The owner is so friendly and really nice.

One of my favorite places in downtown tacoma, I love Granola’s because it has all of my favorite toppings. From fresh fruit, assorted candies, mochis, and cereals/granolas. I really do hope you get to meet the owner of Granola’s while you’re there and if you have time. Probably the sweetest lady you will ever meet, she is genuinely interested in who you are and your story. Def always fun talking with her. This yogurt store is always so clean and impeccable. It makes you enjoy your treats and sweets that much more. Make sure to get your point card and give your information through it, it will text you to know what deals the store has going on.(Ie: bogos!)

I’ve been here at least a dozen times and it always delivers. It’s similar to most other froyo places but I really like the rewards program they have. I usually get the euro tart or strawberry lemonade froyo and load it with 6 or 7 different fruits. It usually comes out to $ 6 or $ 7 but on Fridays they have a deal where you can load up as big as you want for only $ 5.

Have been here many times on $ 5 Friday. There are always a variety of flavors and tons of toppings. Something that stands out compared to other places are their variety of fresh fruit. They have a ton of different fresh fruit to choose from. I only put 4 stars due to like other reviews say their yogurt can be runny at times. People there are incredibly friendly and I am happy to contribute to a small business.

Super tastey! Clean store, very friendly service, and a TON of topping options! A great addition to Pac Ave storefronts. …my favs, there were so many, but very berry, euro tart, and oddly, salted caramel pretzel were what I ended up with, and I wasn’t dissappointed! Free samples to make sure you get what you love. :) Check them out and enjoy a super tastey treat!

I’ve given this place a couple chances, but after today I don’t think I’ll ever go back. All of the flavors were melted(my bowl was like soup by the time I reached the cash register), and the flavors didn’t seem to be mixed well. When I used the red velvet flavor, red dye was dripping out. A lot of the flavors also actually left a bad taste in my mouth. So unless you want melted, unmixed froyo that leaves an unpleasant after-taste, I don’t recommend coming here. That said, this place will likely survive no matter what it does since it is the only froyo place on a college campus. Let me sum up my thoughts with this haiku: This melted yogurt Leaves a bad taste in my mouth Let’s go to Gibson’s

Like your typical frozen yogurt shop… lots of different flavors of yogurt and a decent amount of toppings. Place is clean with seating and the service was very friendly. Located in a cool area with lots of little surrounding shops.

I am changing my review to 5 stars because recently we had a less than perfect visit and I shared that feedback with the owner. I received a prompt response and a generous resolution to our feedback. When a company responds that quickly to any customer concern — well — that deserves a rare 5 star review from me. We will be back very soon!

I really love good frozen yogurt, and this place had GOOD frozen yogurt. So good that after finished a bowl I wanted an excuse for more, so I called my friend and said, «Do you want some frozen yogurt?» When she said yes, I made her an extra-large bowl so I could share with her. BUT What really stood out for me in this place was the service. The lady came out from behind the counter to show me her favorite flavors and tell me how everything worked. She was very natural and amiable. The best part was how she kept trying to get me a discount: «Are you a student?»(it’s right near the university) «No, sorry.» «Oh. Well, you work close-by…right?»(ready to give me a neighborhood discount) «No, I live in Seattle.» «Oh.» Disappointed, she charged me the full price. Then, when I bought the second bowl of ice cream she had another idea: «Do you have a stamp card?» «Heh, no, I rarely come to Seattle.» exasperated she turned to her coworker and said, «Just give him 10% off.»
Usually places wait for you to tell them you deserve some discount. The fact that she really wanted to give me any discount I deserved, and then some, made me realize that these are actually people who really care about giving their customers an awesome experience. And it was. Good yogurt, good company, and good care. I’ll look for excuses to come back. Thanks guys :-)

So I wanted a light lunch and saw they had smoothies and such so I went in. I didn’t see any smoothies on the menu no problem there was oatmeal listed! I asked for the oatmeal and that’s when things started going down hill. The cashier pulled out a bucket of packaged oatmeal(like Quakers) and awkwardly told me to pick a flavor. I rummaged through and grabbed one. She then walked me to the fro-yo toppings and had me pick out my fruit. As I was doing so she yelled across the restaurant milk or water?! Never really having milk in my oatmeal I chose milk. She then poured milk as packaged oatmeal into a fro-yo bowl and put it in the microwave. 3 awkward minutes pass and she pulls it out… She must have put 3x the amount of milk needed. It was milk soup!!! Anyways because I’m to shy to say anything I pay and take it. Dump in my fruit and walla weird oatmeal fruit milk soup. It was mostly just awkward

I finally had a chance to go in and try this shop. I was waiting until they had Peanut Butter, my favorite flavor. The shop has the feel of a coffee house. The interior is a golden yellow and the tables and chairs are a rich, dark wood. There are approximately six tables, and there are several comfy lounge chairs. There is also a bar along the window, so you can sit at the bar and look outside while enjoying your treat. There are 14 flavors of self-serve yogurt, which is made by YoCream. Some of the flavors on today’s visit included Cable Car Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel Corn, Dulce de Leche, Cake Batter, Barista Coffee Blend, Peppermint Stick, Egg Nog, and Kiwi Strawberry Sorbet. The price of the yogurt is $ 0.47 per ounce, and a military discount is offered. They also offer a loyalty program through Perka Rewards, and customers can receive 8 oz free after 9 visits. They also have a promotion on Fridays where you can fill up your cup for $ 5. There are several toppings to choose from, mostly dry toppings that include cereal, candy, chocolate, sprinkles, plus various types of granola/Muesli which can be used to make a parfait. There are also chilled toppings such as fruit, mochi, and cookie dough bites. They even offer whipped cream at no additional charge. That’s a first! They also have freshly made waffle bowls and waffle cone dividers, which is something I’ve never seen at any other yogurt shop in the area. The only dividers I’ve seen in other shops are cardboard, and they aren’t edible. What a tasty and creative way to separate your yogurt flavors! In addition to yogurt, Granola’s serves fresh pastries as well as oatmeal, coffee, hot tea, hot cocoa, and chilled beverages. Although I like the shop, I was very disappointed with my yogurt. The texture was a bit icy, and it was not as creamy as I expected. It was the same with all the flavors I tried, not just one. The other disappointment was the taste of the yogurt; it was not as flavorful as it should have been, and it tasted like the yogurt had been watered down. As someone who goes out for yogurt on a daily basis and someone who has eaten at 99% of the yogurt shops in the greater Puget Sound area, this experience left me unsatisfied and wishing that I had gone to one of my usual fro-yo places for my daily treat. Granola’s has all of the qualities that make up a nice local business, but the bottom line for me is taste and it just didn’t wow me.

This is a really nice place to have some frozen yogurt. It has more of a date night atmosphere than the average kiddy yogurt shop. I am not a big fan of all the crazy froyo flavors out there these days. If that is your thing then you will like this place anyway because they have a great selection. All I want is a nice tart yogurt and some berries for toppings and Granolas delivered in a big way. The Euro Tart yogurt is awesome and their fruit tasted fresh and delicious. The place was very clean and the employees were very fun and inviting even at the end of the day when we visited. Very nice job Granolas. My date night with the wife ended very well. Keep up the good work.

I love this place! It’s great how the flavors always rotate and there’s a big topping selection. The«per-weight» pricing is also great because you can get as much as you want to pay for. The staff is friendly and the location is amazing, across the street from the Tacoma museums. It’s becoming a favorite place to stop for a delicious treat!
