History

Established in 1976.

Fleetline Automotive was founded by Ron Graham in 1976. Ron built Fleetline Automotive into a well-​respected, honest, and value minded repair shop that evolved into working on race cars, hot rods, and custom cars along with the normal repair business. Almost 40 years later Ron has decided to give up the wrench and retire. This opened up an opportunity for his bookkeeper’s, (Cindy Phelps) son-​in-​law, Jeff Ray. Jeff has been in the automotive industry his entire career and is passionate about cars. Jeff, together with his longtime friend, Dan Goodman, purchased the shop from Ron in April of 2014. Even though Ron has retired, he can often be found at the shop still offering his guidance and knowledge. Jeff and Dan have over 40 years of automotive knowledge between them and they will continue to run a shop that is based on honesty and value while they strive to be the ‘go to’ auto shop for all of your auto repair and fabrication needs.

Business Owner

Jeffrey Ray grew up in Olympia and attended North Thurston high school. The auto shop class he took during high school sparked his interest in fixing cars and taking things apart and putting them back together. Jeffrey started his automotive career at Les Schwab in 1991 where he worked for nine years as the brake and alignment manager In 2000 Jeffrey moved on to Mercedes Benz where he became a team leader in three years and became master certified in five years. In 2008 Jeffrey made the move to an independent shop as the only Mercedes Benz specialist. He was looking for a new challenge so he jump brands and moved to Northwest Mini Cooper in 2010 where he was fast tracked to level 1 tech. In just under three years he was a team leader/​cpo specialist. Jeffrey has always put customers first. His plan is to take what is already a shop with a great reputation for honesty, value, and quality work and continue to grow the customer base and work that is accomplished.
