Love this place. They always do a great job, and I can walk right in and never have to wait for that long at all.

I no longer live in Washington which is sad because this is legit the BEST nail place I have ever been too. I used to drive two hours away nearly every two weeks to get acrylics and they have NEVER messed up on me, this is the only nail place I always can count on. I used to get eyelash extensions here too and I LOVED them. All the customers are so sweet, and Kim is THE BEST, she is so sweet and always did my nails to perfection.

I came here not expecting much, well my low expectations were not even met. There was only one other person being helped when I came in was sat down right away but 3 or more different people worked on my nails. They were super quick but did a bad job. The shape was bad, she messed up the polish and while trying to fix it made it a lot worse… Don’t plan on going back and wouldn’t recommend you go there. Go somewhere else and pay the same or a little more for a good manicure!

To add insult to injury, it hasn’t even been a week and my shellac is lifting because she did such a horrible «manicure» and the shellac is lumpy. I’m so mad I even paid that woman. Also the poor brides nails were ruined by the time she got home because the nail tech didn’t even let the first color dry. It was suppose to have been an ombré color but ended up an inverted French tip of bullshit with a shitty flower painted over it!

I’m honestly happy, my best friend gets her nails done here and they’re always spot on. Her nails look awesome. Last December I got a pedicure and it was for my birthday, they did a great job, even painted snowflakes on for me, I didn’t ask! I had seahawks blue color done and she put some green glitter one over it for me.
So when I wanted to get a full set done, I asked my BFF to go with me. She agreed, it was my splurge for myself. As a mom to a 3 year old I rarely splurge and treat myself. The nails turned out so awesome. I told the girl, full set, didn’t really care about color or designs just make them look pretty! They did an amazing job and I love my nails!

The techs are nice, but the service is terrible! My first visit I watched them use tools on me and then «accidentally» use the same tools on a woman 2 seats down. Less than 48 hours after getting my nails done, I was at Urgent Care with an infection in my finger. I went back to the shop in person to show them what happen to my finger. I was told I should have went back to the nail shop when my finger became infected and not the doctor. I reported them to the Health Department. Very nice people, but certainly not worth the health risk. Walk a few more mins down the mall and go to Red Nails.

Worst mani or pedi ever! 20 minutes to do both and I was the only customer! The young man doing my feet cut me and the young woman doing my hands basically just filed the nails and put lotion on. I also developed a fungus on one foot after being there! You’d be better off putting your digits into a woodchipper than taking them to these folks.

I liked it better than last time. Even tho they don’t look that neat or right but I liked the service there. The price is a fair deal. $ 25 plus design.

been goin here since 2011. they used to do a great job until recently. my nails chip & lift off my real nail almost every single time i get it fixed. they were nice enough to fix it w/​o charging but they must use cheap acrylic or nail glue now because the work is terrible. shaping & Polish have always been good for me here but the application of the acrylic sucks.

$ 25 fo r a 10 minute «spa pedicure»… feet don’t look any different then when I walked in this joint. The scrub and massage was over in just a few minutes then on to the polish… uneven„ not double coated and $ 8 to add polka dots? Top coat never added and sent out the door still wet… see the picture of how they turned out! Do not waste your time or $$

This was my first visit to this nail salon and I had a great experience. The woman who did my pedicure was pleasant and did a decent job on my nails. My regular place was closed today, which is honestly the only reason I came, but if in need again, I would return.

Always awesome when I show up. Even busy they make sure you know they appreciate you. I went a few months without coming because of scheduling so I had to go to other salons for my nails and they still remembered I had a little one and asked about her and how she was doing. They make sure you get the best quality nails done.

I got a French manicure done Saturday evening. But sunday am my nails were chipped and cracking. :/​I feel as though the quality of polish was poor. They also had my nails fan dry and didnt use the uv light.
I wish I had paid a few more bucks for a better quality job :(

You know, I used t come here from time to time when I worked in the mall. The experience was always «ok» to «pleasant».
Today, after leaving another salon after the tech attempted to RIP my gard –dang fake nails off, without soaking or filing them OR ANYTHING. Diamond Nail (s) really brought my day back from the brink after that situation.
They all took really great care of my hands. They were careful and gentle… Granted ANYTHING would have been more gentle than the frick-​fracking finger torture I had just escaped… I would call the service very gentle, even by the standard of basic human decency.
The tech here even helped me find a more gentle solution to the fake gel-​nails I had been getting.
I am actually, a very satisfied customer. Nails attached, and rage-​gone!

One of two nail salons I saw in the Tacoma Mall today, I wished I’d gone in earlier as the day went on both salons got busier. This one has the pedicure chairs in a back room. It’s nice to not be on display when having a pedi done, but that room was kind of hot and needed a fan. Some employees had coats with their name embroidered on it but the person who helped me today was a younger (20s) Asian woman whose name I don’t know. She was more friendly than some I’ve encountered, although did not engage me in much more conversation beyond the normal pleasantries like, «Is the water [temperature] okay?» She did ask if for the toenail polish if I wanted full color or just French tip (I’d chosen a sea green color), which I’ve never had asked. The pedicure was just a «surface» one, where I feel like they are just going through the motions, and basically end up with very clean feet instead of actually softened beyond the outermost layer. She did not use the callus scraper, which disappointed me, as I saw it being used on someone at the other salon. I understand they can be dangerous if not used by someone correctly, but I find they cut through the tough skin better than anything and I need that. I still have some flaky skin on the bottom of my feet, apparently mild athlete’s foot I didn’t realize I had.
I asked for an upper lip wax and was pleased that it was in private room– a small closet basically, as the last two places I’ve had this done completely out in the open salon with no privacy. You lay down and a bright light is shone in your face. This was the most painful of the three lip waxes I’ve had done, I had the feeling she was inexperienced at it. She did have me check her work with a dirty hand-​mirror, which was appreciated, I had her get a few more hairs by tweezing. Upon further inspection she left quite a bit of hair, especially around the lip-​line. It’s blonde so it’s not noticeable but will have to be redone very soon.
The manicure was fine, there’s not much to do there, my nails were very short and unpolished to begin with, she did a nice hand/​arm massage with lotion. She asked if I wanted to pay before she painted my nails, I was just about to ask, I hate mussing up a new polish job that I paid for. The manicure, pedicure ($ 35)and lip wax ($ 7) came to $ 42, I tipped $ 11, would’ve been more but that’s all the cash I had on me and didn’t want to use my debit card. I don’t know if she was displeased with the tip or not, but the nail polish job was about how I do it at home (not great), there’s some places where there’s nail polish on the cuticle. She also may have been hungry because as she held my hands in the air to polish them her hand was shaking slightly. It’s also just easier to rest the hand on the table but I wasn’t the one calling the shots, I just went with it.
I did notice from the pricelist that a full set of acrylics is $ 60, which is more what a high-​end salon charges. The gal next to me getting a fill asked for a particular gentleman (sorry, didn’t catch his name) to do hers, and he seemed to be doing a good job (when I had fake nails, I used to like my nail technicians to have 10+ years of experience to do a good job on acrylics). As I was about to leave a couple came in and complained that both the wife’s and husband’s nails were lifting up at the edges. Upon being told there was nothing they could do the husband said, «Look, I’ve been coming to you guys for seven months…» I guess they relented as the wife and her daughter sat down and began getting their nails done. Within seven minutes about three other people had walked in, so the girl working on me finished up, took off the provided disposable pedicure flip-​flops, put my shoes on, and pretty much sent me on my way. I would’ve like to sat under the UV lamp (don’t know, that may only be for acrylics) or use the fan for longer as my fingernail polish was still wet. I went into another store in the mall briefly and then to my car and got about six dings in the polish. She did use the aerosol nail polish dryer and cuticle oil on both toenails and fingernails but it just wasn’t enough time (about two minutes from when she finished the top coat) for them to dry.
Next time if I’m hard up for a quick fix and in the mall I will try the other place (Red Nails), but I do give this one credit for at least seeming to use clean implements, and being a little more friendly than most Asian nail shops.

After my tanning session, I decided that I wanted to get my nails done just to pamper myself a bit. Stopped by this nail salon that my boyfriend and I pass by everything we’re in Tacoma mall. Walked in, greeted right away. A guy was doing my nails for me didn’t know his name or anything. I was busy watching a movie that they had put on. Pretty quiet place. After my nails were dried, he didn’t come back to check on me. His co-​worker did but all in all I love my nails at the end. Wished he would’ve have paid more attention to see if my nails were done drying rather than hiding in the back eating. I’d definitely come back.
