I love this place. Great selection of meats ranging from steaks, chicken, pork and fish. Their Hawaiian pork loin wrapped in green leaves is fantastic along with their candied salmon jerky and then of course one of my favorites is the guacamole dip, which sells out fast.
They also have a nice selection of vegetables and fruits, along with a decent selection of beers and a rather nice selection of wines.
If you want something particular for an upcoming party or a certain cut of meat, stop in ahead of time and they will help you out.

Dave’s ROCKS! My partner and I just moved to Tacoma, and we found Dave’s Meat & Produce on Unilocal when we did a search for local butchers (we like us some good meat). We visited and were pleased to find a very clean store, a wide selection of high quality meat (with excellent prices for the quality), and pleasant customer service. We purchased a few pounds of ground beef and ground breakfast sausage, both of which tasted EXCELLENT. We’ll definitely be regulars of Dave’s from now on! Awesome spot!

Second time buying meat from this place and wasn’t let down this time either.
The people working there are friendly and knowledgable, prices are fair. I bought a nice chunk of pork belly and cooked it today (first time making it) so delicious!

Absolutely stoked that this place exists. Since moving to Tacoma, it’s been hard to find grass-​fed beef that’s fresh, legit sausage, and bacon. This place has all of that and more. Really good prices (bacon almost 40% cheaper than grocery store)!
Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the produce isn’t organic.

you will also notice I’ve had trouble getting a bundle of green onions, bok choy or the like in the past. sigh.
Maybe if you guys weren’t so concerned with getting a liquor license and selling booze you’d have the basic veggies I need when I come in! tsk tsk.
