History

Established in 1999.

Bulwark Exterminating is a Family Owned Pest Control Company that began with 3 brothers, and their father. Having worked with another national exterminator, the founding trio set out to meet the pest control needs and concerns of local residential home owners. The founders of Bulwark Exterminating believed that they could provide a better service with better results. They have seen this dream become a reality, having earned Super Service Awards, Google’s Favorite Place Award, and an A+ Rating by the BBB.

My name is John, I am a territory Manager with Bulwark Exterminating. I have been with the company for over 9 years now. I currently live in Tacoma with my beautiful wife and two kids, but still call Steeler Country home. I am looking forward to expanding my service area and meeting new customers.

My wife and I were impressed with the service rendered to us by their technician Samantha. She arrived promptly and listened to our sad odorous ant (sugar ants…) stories. Samantha was quite personable. She was thorough and spent nearly two hours with us, though she had a full schedule ahead of her. There were two or three times when I thought she had finished, but she found new areas to treat, especially outside of the home. I strongly recommend Bulwark (they have a Tacoma Office) and I would recommend Long Pest Control (Tacoma) and Gina who was very helpful on my initial inquiries and questions.

Brandon stopped by today to take care of the creepy crawlies. He was very thorough in spraying the exterminating powders and sprays in and around the house. He obliged to do even extra by crawling into the storage behind the stairs and spraying the area which is almost always dark. He did a fantastic job! Highly recommended.

The timing of the visit couldn’t have been better. We’ve had an invasion of big black ants and had been thinking of getting an exterminator to come out. Instead, they came to me and made the sale (while he was talking to my wife, I was quietly checking out Bulwark online. I came away impressed). Anyway, Brandon later came over and quickly identified where the ants lived. He seems to have made short work in dealing with the colonies and he was professional and a nice guy too! Assuming the stupid ants die/​go away, we hope to have a lengthy relationship with Bulwark Pest Control.

Just had the initial visit yesterday. Both technicians that came out (John and Samantha) were great listeners and went the extra mile to make sure all of our concerns about pests were addressed before they left. Their professionalism was top notch. I love that the company uses materials that won’t harm our pets or kids. This makes pest extermination actually POSSIBLE and SAFE for us. Finally!!!

Amazing service! $ 10 to start on the initial and $ 99 after each quarter, cant beat that for a lot of service.

This company is top notch! The prices are reasonable and if you have any issues between services they jump to help. Recently I had my first service all went well no issues after the fact… except when I went to have my gutter system replaced we realized I also had a wasp problem. Within the hour they were at my house spraying free of charge so the guys doing my gutters were safe! Love it! Highly recommended!

The Technician, John, was very thorough and informative. I have not had an exterminator service since the ‘90s down florida. And that was primarily for termites and roaches. We just moved into a newer home in the South Puget Sound area and were surprised by the number of black widows and hobo spiders we found around the outside of the house and in the grage. While shadowing John through out his inspection, we found over 2 dozen black widows and about a dozen hobo spiders. John was very informative in his explanation of their eradication process as well as in the identification of both immature and mature spiders of each species. Not to mention identification of their egg sacks. We are well on our way to being spider free in and around the house… just have to wait for the little monsters to die from the liquid and powders used. I am thoroughly happy with the services provided and how quickly they responded to my inquiry and request for service

We signed a 1 year contract with them and they did a good job exterminating our pests. However trying to schedule our second appointment since the we found a poisonous spider in the house, and it took 3 calls from me just to get a an appointment booked. Horrible customer service and will not be continuing our service with them next year. With a young child in the house they need to understand and be able to take booking appointments seriously.
