Black Star Espresso

LOVE this place. Baristas are always nice and friendly. One specifically remembers my drink, which she suggested to me. It’s their number one. I always forget the name of it. Way better than Starbucks if you ask me.

Seems like every time I come in, they don’t know how to make a Kahlua breve! Just not the same when your regular barista is not there…

I liked the coffee the first few times I went here. But it’s getting 3 stars because of the following reasons. The second time I went here the barista that was there was on her cellphone. Thought that was kind of annoying since she didn’t see me at first because she was on her phone… doing whatever. I thought maybe it was a mis-​hap. Things happen. I went back a week later and I different barista was there on her cellphone. She saw me pull up and told her boyfriend? I’m assuming she had to go… he was in speaker. Then he just kept talking and she said «ok, hold on a min» she asked me what I wanted. And proceeded to keep talking to him on speaker so I can hear there entire conversation. mind you they were actually kind of fighting in the phone. Then she told him to hold on again she told me my total and then started talking to him again while she got my change. I will not go back here because of 2 times that two different baristas were on their phones and didn’t notice me or ignored me and thought their call is more important. Maybe they should possibly think of a no cellphone policy?

A great little drive-​thru! The baristas are friendly and consistently make great drinks. My favorite is the iced 5 star. So why not a 5 star rating? It’s a little higher than I’d like to pay and I wouldn’t say «they’re perfect» I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place but it’s a must when I’m nearby.

Not a bad place for coffee! I went here while on one of my coffee drink trends of getting mochas. It was not bad, pretty good! I see most of the reviewers here give the place 5 stars but I am not quite ready to yield that fifth star here. I guess what was important is if the coffee met my standards and it did.

Absolutely amazing COFFEE! I drive across town just to get their coffee, even if I’m going the complete opposite direction.

I absolutely love the black starberry. So delicious. I moved to california recently and have been craving this stuff! I won’t be able to get some before i leave for cali again but i had to write a review. I loveeeee it! Go get some black starberry :)

Super friendly baristas, less expensive than some other joints and good espresso drinks. AAAAAAND… they have a punch card so I can put some free caffeine in my face from time to time. Double punches FTW! When I’m in the area this is the spot. Now if I could only get them to serve a 72 ounce sized drink I’d be golden!
