Bassett Furniture

Visited this place for the first time. Sales staff was as expected and knowledgeable. Quality of the furniture seems very good and the prices reflect it. We did not purchase although we have in the past. You pay for what you get. High quality.

I wanted to share our experience with Bassett Furniture in Fife. We purchased a recliner sofa last year and after about six months one of the recliner mechanisms started to have problems. We forgot that it might have a warranty so we lived with it for another couple of months. Finally just on a whim I tried calling Bassett and they looked up our purchased and confirmed it was under warranty. They sent a repair man to our house who determined the mechanism had to be replaced. A few weeks after ordering the parts he came back to install it and unfortunately it did not fit like it was supposed to. He assured us he would get a new part as soon as possible and come back. After a few more weeks he returned with a custom made mechanism because our couch was a discontinued model and he could not get the correct part. It worked for a few weeks but then started to hang up again. We called the manager at the Fife store and shared our experience. We were not upset, but frustrated that we had purchased a couch that was not working properly. He gave us the option of returning our couch and using the credit towards a new couch. We were blown away by this type of customer service. We just got our new couch and are very excited. It is rare for retail stores these days to stand behind their products and do all they can to satisfy their customers. We will definitely return to Bassett for our future furniture needs!!!
