History

Established in 1983.

In 1983 AIR Import Repairs was founded by Mr. Fritz Akker. Throughout the years Mr. Akker built his business by providing honest service and repair on European and Japanese vehicles. He was an active member of the community who contributed and attended many city meetings and activities. In 1988, Mr. Akker hired a young mechanic named John Smith. Mr. Smith was well educated and developed the skills to become a top rate mechanic. After 9 years, Mr. Smith left to work for a local dealership but kept in touch with Mr. Akker. In 2004, Mr. Akker retired and sold the business to Mr. Smith. John Smith has been carrying on that tradition of honest service and community involvement ever since.

At A.I.R. Import Repairs, we have the expertise necessary to properly diagnose the issue and repair it so that the vehicle is running at 100 percent efficiency.

Business Owner

John Smith is the owner of AIR Import Repairs. He began in automotive repair at a young age. When he was nine years old his uncle handed him a set of tools and told him to take apart his first engine. Mr. Smith is certified at the highest ASE levels for an automotive technician.
