I like going here because it close, however service is marginal at best, prices are high for what you get and food is so-so. Live music is what draws me…

This was our first time here, I must say I was a little worried because of the poor reviews… but our experience was decent. The food was good, our server was fairly attentive. The only draw back was that they sat us near the hostess station and we could hear the hostess telling someone to remove the extra silverware and plates from our table then instructing them on how to clean around us(thought that was a little tacky). Other than that, we had a nice experience.

Wish I wanted to return here because it’s so close by but I don’t. The atmosphere is beautiful & our service was amazing but the food was expensive and bland. I don’t mind paying for good food but this missed the mark. I ordered the roast beef au jus and expected something more than I got considering how it was described on the menu. My guest had pasta Bolenegse and it was just ok. The Crème brûlée was the highlight of the whole visit. I have no reason to return here when there are so many other restaurants in the area with excellent food at the same price.

Just left the Tabernacle Inn. Very nice inside. I was seated quickly, because there was about 5 people in the place at 6PM. I was greeted by two flies that apparently have been waiting all day for me. I don’t like flies. I ordered the Penne with Bolognese sauce and the New England Clam Chowder. The Chowder was very good but just warm. No bread was given or offered. The Penne was a but too al-dente for me but the Bolognese sauce was good but not a true Bolognese sauce. Really just a meat sauce. The waitstaff was good and made sure I was happy. Just over $ 19.00 for the meal, which is a bit high for penne and a cup of soup.

This place was so bad a fly committed suicide in the ketchup on my plate! No a/c on while its 93° outside and our Paninis was burnt to a crisp. Guess the bartender found it more important to talk than do her job.

The service was excellent, our waiter Taylor was very attentive. The food was good, the only thing is the cream of potato soup tasted odd, very peppery and my salad was rather basic, could have better considering the price per meal. We’ve driven past this place a million times and finally got to try it. We may go back one day, but doubtful.

Im shocked at the amount of bad reviews. Im a foodie and I like the food here, buttt I generally just go here for the burger but my kids and husband have ordered other things. They have great customer service and the food I have had here is good. I wish they’d advertise more or something, start having live bands or theme nights cause this place is always so dead.

I have to comment on the next visit on a busy Saturday night. We waited and waited and waited for our waitress, and waited for the meal to come. We gave up and cancelled. Very nicely because I’ll call that a bad night.

We are«locals». We visited this place several times approx. 10 – 15 years ago and it was pretty good. I believe it closed down for a while and re-opened sometime in the past few years. After learning that the pic-a-lilli was packed with a 30+ minute wait, we stopped in here for dinner. Walking in, we first noticed that the place looks dated and smelled a bit funny. Our sever was very nice but very slow with our drinks, refills and setups. My(not cheap) draft beer was skunked and kind of warm. I mentioned this to our server who apologized and said«maybe the keg was dead»… but still charged us for the beer. The bread they brought was stale/day old. We had wings and mozzerella sticks for apps, both of which were pretty good. Our simple entres(Ruben Panini, Chicken Parm, Pene Vodka) were bland, dry and had minimal flavor(frozen). I would not recommend this place.

Warm atmosphere with very professional wait staff that made our family comfortable. The food came quickly and all at once which was unexpectedly wonderful. I recommend the crab cake dinner. The children’s meals were just the right amount but do not come with a drink. The only downside are the prices! Everything is about $ 3 to $ 5 dollars to much. One of our burgers was over-grilled and charred.

Had the family Christmas Eve dinner before church… parents raved about the place… I say it is very dated inside. Never remodeled when they reopened. I had the buffalo calamari appy with some of my nieces. It was good. Then had the ahi tuna dinner. 2 family members did the 7fishes dinner. Overall I have been hearing great reviews from people. I would say average at best… Ok if you want a local place that has a bar. with decent food. Bonus points for having Angry Orchard Hard Cider on tap…

The food was good but I think they still have a few things to work on. For being a local, small town restaurant, it was good. The portion sizes were a bit over the top and the plating could stand for some refining. As well as the service. I would have appreciated a clean fork and knife between courses. We were in the bar so we could watch the Flyers game(yay, a win at last) but our server was also doubling as a bartender so we were kind of neglected. Our salads and entrees were great but I recommend skipping dessert… your toddler could make something better in an easy bake oven. I hope to see this improve and succeed. They’re still new so I hope that people give them a chance. Its nothing fancy, just a good place to have dinner.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I was so excited when I discovered the Tabernacle Inn was reopening. How great? One of the few places in Tabernacle with a liquor license would keep me close to home without driving out to the Marlton area for drinks. We ordered a portabella mushroom salad, a Maryland crab cake sandwich and two drinks. The portabella mushroom salad had little to no flavor! It was super tough, cold, and served with missing ingredients from what they printed on the menu. In my lifetime I have only sent back a few meals, I had to send this back. I ordered a cobb salad instead. Ughhh just as bad! How could you mess up a cobb salad? C’mon chef… The crab cake sandwich was all filler with only a few hints of crab, everyones biggest annoyance. The bun was stale and the tomatoes weren’t even close to being ripe. The total bill? 50 bucks not including tip! For the surrounding neighborhoods of Tabernacle, Shamong, and Medford, word will travel quickly how bad the food is here. The people of South Jersey can cook well and have high expectations for food. We will want to see changes before we return to this horrible establishment.
