History

Established in 1983.

TAG was started at a kitchen table in Steve Tallman’s home by him and George Galek. The company has grown to over 70 employees during those 23 years and has gone from offering heating and cooling products and services to providing a full array of services designed to make homes and buildings healthier, safer, more comfortable and energy efficient. From heating and cooling to renewable energy systems (Solar PV) TAG can help you make your home or business more sustainable and earth friendly.

Ellis G Guiles, Jr. P.E. is Vice President of TAG Mechanical Systems, Inc and Principal of EG2 Engineering, P.C. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics/​Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration from the State University of New York. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York, holds five (5) Building Performance Institute Certifications, is a Building Performance Institute Certified Proctor, is a Home Energy Rater, a Green Verifier, a LEED AP and a Green Rater. He has over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry including product design/​development, sales/​marketing, distribution, manufacturing, and construction. He holds a US Patent for a Dynamic Particulate Control system, is the author of «LEED, Follow or Get out of the Way», an authorized numerous articles for multiple industry publications, has been a TV show host, Radio Talk show host and is a nationally recognized speaker.
