Syracuse Regional Taxi

I had easily the worst cab experience I’ve ever had with this company. Driver drove aggressively and pumped on the brakes when someone behind was tailgating, then proceeded to flick off the driver and curse him when he passed.
Do these guys have any sense of professionalism and safety?
Driver was some older guy that made off-​color and unsolicited remarks like telling me his dumb phone was also called an «Obama phone» because it did so little. I chatted with him anyway since I was new to town, asking him about the area. He got extremely defensive when I mentioned I previously drove for Über, citing the business as an illegal practice. Moreover, he got so distracted berating me for driving Über in the past that he had to pull over and re-​examine his GPS because he got lost.
Good lord. This is the reason why Über will/​is destroying the cab industry. Drivers like this. What a joke.

Slow & expensive! Syracuse airport could needs to improve the Taxi Services options.

Don’t even bother making a reservation. We where told that it’s first come first served after making a reservation days in advance. What a joke of a company. The guy at the desk is a d1ck.

Waited over an hour and a half for a taxi from the airport to Syracuse campus. Red head lady is very rude and said that it was my fault somehow although I was very patient waiting. Never use them if you want to get anywhere on time. Costs $ 30 too! Never would recommend to friends or even enemies.

What a disaster for Syracuse. Nasty lady (she has a Masters, no need to ask she’ll tell you — apparently not in communication) running the desk. No wait time, no instructions. People jumping the line. NEVER use this service. Just call a cab from the local directory or Google. Faster, more polite and less money. Put these nasty thieves out of business.

This company is incredible. I use them for work all the time. Yes, they are a little pricey, but I have never worked with anyone more efficient and dependable. They dropped everything to help a friend of mine who may have needed a last minute ride to the bus station when the taxi company he called was almost an entire hour late. They are so quick and so consistent. I refuse to use anyone else to and from the airport and bus station. Not to mention their drivers are so friendly and amazing. Thank you, Syracuse Regional Taxi! The prepay option is fabulous.

I really dislike this place it’s completely inefficient and overcharges a lot for the area. When I get a taxi home the cost is just over 25 dollars when I get a taxi to the airport it’s about 10. The payment system is a total waste of time generates a ton of paper sign this give this to the driver save your receipt. Christ can’t you go electronic? Have you ever considered the value to the customer? Overall I hate this taxi service nothing against the drivers they are just doing a job but I hope this place pays them well because with prices being double what a non monopoly taxi service is I’m sure they are not getting good tips

I like the concept, you go downstairs and walk to the booth, tell them where you will go, pay the fare and they give you the voucher for the driver and the receipt for you. There were four taxi waiting at the curb. No hassle to pay by the card inside the cab and ask for the receipt.

Not much to say, but worth mentioning is their odd payment system. You first go downstairs to the booth, give the person your money for the ride, and then wait for a cab to show up, and then of course give the guy your voucher.
I don’t know why, but I don’t think they ever have cabs just waiting outside –they are called from some remote location. Kind of annoying.
