Pronto’s Pizza & Catering

Omg all I’m gonna say is I went in at 5 pm with my boyfriend he ordered 3 slices and they’re like «we ran out we can only give you 2 slices» and they pulled these worse than digornio mystery slices out of thin air and threw them into a box lukewarm. This place needs to be investigated something weird is going on who runs out of digornio at 5 pm run to wegmans and get more wtf

Briefly, Joey’s Pronto Pizza is a small take out and delivery service arm of Joey’s Italian Restaurant. The association ends there with the name only.
Why do I make this conclusion? I walked into Joey’s Pronto and, as one would expect of a takeout food business, it is small. After hearing glowing accolades about Joey’s Italian Restaurant, I had expectations that the passion and quality of the food would be shared on the take out side.
With wonderful expectations, I ordered a large sub. Immediately, the employees started to work on my order. The first disturbing sign was they pulled the bread from a plastic bag with a commercial, supermarket brand label !
It only got better from this point. What use are gloves for sanitary reasons if the person preparing your sandwich wipes his nose with his gloved hands while handlling the pre sliced cold cuts and cheese destined for your sandwich?
Somehow, because of my arrogant belief in my autoimmune system, I watched in silent horror and allowed the assembly of my sandwich to continue.
The health violation aside, the sandwich was a few slices of mediocre meat, tons of lettuce and tasteless old tomatoes on Wonder bread masquerading as Italian bread.
The Dollar value menu at McDonald’s looks great in comparison.

Good pizza. Would get it again.

Decent pizza, average pricing about 2 $ a slice, ok dessert selection good for on the go or just don’t wanna leave your home/​place.
