Pascale’s is open late and has a vast selection. The prices are also considerably less than what I find at other places. I drink wine, and all of my usual bottles were a few dollars less than the norm. That being said, the service sucks. Sorry, but there is no other way to say it. There is no one that I have ever encountered that has any knowledge of wines. No one is ever friendly, and the last time I went in, there was such an ordeal at the point of sale, that I thought the clerk was just messing with us! However, I’m not sure I need great service for inexpensive, convenient alcohol. That’s why I go back.

Lots of mail in rebates. They don’t give you the rebate till after you check out. Then they tell you to goto the wall and find the rebate. When you ask where one is you hear«oh we are out of that one and that one and that one.» So now you have to return all of your liquor. Super store!

We went last night at the last minute to purchase for New Years Eve party. They were busy but they had registers open and checking out was quick. The staff helping was wonderful, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. I found what I had in mind to get and I was even more happy that my choice was one of the choices recommended by staff. Prices was right as well. We will be back.

Great selection and prices, and one of the easiest stores to navigate. Plenty of upstate NY finger lakes wines, as well as everything else you would expect. Made sure to pick up a case of Red Newt White and a couple Bully Hills last time I was in town for a wedding. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Great selection and good(sometimes great) prices on liquor. I know jack shit about wine but there are a lot of bottles of wine here.

Great selection and great prices! It’s the biggest and best liquor store in Syracuse. I’m only giving it four stars because the building is a little on the dilapidated side and the parking-lot/driveway situation needs some pretty substantial improvements.

Whats the first thing most college students do when they arrive on campus?(besides play stupid ‘get to know you’ games with their RA?) They find the nearest liquor store of course. On Syracuse campus there is no close liquor store, except in the ghetto behind BB. And who wants to risk getting mugged? Or you could hike up to Westcott. But you better be sure you are wearing your walking shoes. As for beer, fine ale, such as beast, busch, keystone, etc… can be purchased on M-street. But once you find yourself some wheels head on down to liquor square. Its like a toys r us for grownups. Quite magical indeed. They have got pretty much anything you need to host a gathering, from bottom shelf to top shelf. And for those of you who are more mature they have a vast wine selection, and even do tastings every now and again. The staff is very helpful if you don’t know what you are looking for. And they have shopping carts for when you need to buy 10 bottles of Barton’s and 6 boxes of wine in a jiffy.
