Janice K Pliszczak, DDS

Dr. Pliszczak is always professional, kind, caring, and perky. Her staff is efficient and knowledgeable — cleanings and X-​Rays are quick and as comfortable as possible. Great music! Love the phone reminders — I never keep up with my crazy calendar! And hey, her office is up the hill from Gannon’s — stop for a little treat on the way home! :)

Always efficient and friendly, Dr. Pliszczak and her staff get me in and out of my appointment on time. I hadn’t been to the dentist through most of my 20s and they have been great working with me and my insurance to take care of my issues with very reasonable fees.
I really like the new ultrasonic cleaning tool, which they use to reduce the amount of plaque scraping they need to do.

My whole family has been going to Janice Pliszczak for our dental needs for many years. I believe her motivation is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. I have asked her many times to stay within the scope of our insurance, which she does not, which has left us with high dental bills. I had an appointment for a cleaning and the receptionist made a mistake and scheduled the appointment for 2014 not 2013. I left my book open for the scheduled appointment (thinking it was in 2013) and Dr. Pliszczak said sorry we made a mistake. That was ok, everyone makes mistakes. In a few weeks I missed an appointment and reminded her that I forgave her mistake and thought she should forgive mine. NO… she is charging me $ 40 for a missed appointment! I have had it with her money grabbing attitude and am changing dentists. I asked for my x-rays…she is charging me $ 15 for them… didn’t I already pay for them when she took them?
I could go on and on about my bad experience with her but will leave it at DON’T go to Janice Pliszczk!
