David Moore Photography specializes in event photography: weddings, Bar/​Bat Mitzvahs, anniversaries, high school reunions, birthday parties. I also do on-​location portraits: family, yearbook, high-​school proms.

History

Established in 1993.

For the past 20 years, I’ve been a wedding and Bar/​Bat Mitzvah photographer, working in the Syracuse area. Some people may think that’s a long time but I don’t think it’s long enough. I still love the work, and I still work to improve the product I deliver to my clients.



Before starting my business, I received a Masters in Fine Arts from Syracuse University. This education provided a great foundation when I began working commercially. But there is no substitute for experience, and after 20 years, I’ve photographed over 300 events.

In 1985, I received a Masters in Fine Arts from Syracuse University. I started my business in 1993. In addition to my commercial work, I am also a photography professor at Le Moyne College.
