My wife and I went on Tuesday night for taco Tuesday. Street tacos are 2 for a $ 1 and they were AMAZING! Service was quick and very good. We had 9 tacos total and left with under a $ 10 bill for two people. Restaurant was very clean and we were seated quickly with drinks and chips and salsa on our table within a few minutes. Will be back for another taco Tuesday for sure. Would recommend the carne asada street tacos to everyone!

I don’t live in the area, was there for a high school sporting event and needed a quick lunch spot. The place was comfortable and the food was actually decent to good (even with bland rice and runny refried beans), but I’m fair –so I’ll give it two stars. However, my wife ordered a taco salad and when it came out the waitress said «he’s still working on the guacamole». OK, weird, but OK. Then it never came. I had to ask for it again and was told it would be a few more minutes. Nevermind, we had to leave by then. The manager (or owner?) came out to apologize saying that he’d sent someone to the store to buy some and they hadn’t returned. Really? Did he mean store bought guacamole? No, thanks. The 10% discount was a nice gesture, but completely missed the point. Why send out the dish incomplete in the first place? Come out and tell the customer you’re missing a key ingredient and let them decide if they still want it. Such a disappointment that could have been handled so much more professionally. Too many good Mexican options for that to fly. Oh, and I also REALLY hate the whole 1^st chips & salsa free and 2^nd bowl for $ 2 thing in a sit down /​served Mexican restaurant! A HUGE turnoff.

Friendly staff, very quick with orders, very attentive waiters and waitresses, good price for the amount of food you get.

Went in for lunch had beef steak and shrimp Bandito burrito. The burrito was delicious. The service was great. The only downside was I ordered the horchata and it came out a little watery and weak. Other than that everything was great.

Extremely disappointed! I can’t understand how this place has 4 stars. This is about as close to authentic Mexican as Taco Bell. The beef had the consistency of canned dog food and it was obvious by the speed in which the food arrived and the flavor that it is microwaved. On top of that you get one tiny basket of chips and small cup of salsa, after that its $ 1.99! Won’t be visiting again.

Very good Mexican food, very clean, good prices. I had the steak nachos. The meat was grilled and had been marinaded (sp?) great flavor, and was well chopped so I had some in every bite. My kids ordered a steak and shrimp burrito and said it was very good. Most dishes were $ 10 or less. Also, the tables and benches were very comfortable, which seems like a silly thing but I hardly ever like the seats when eating out.
It’s so nice to find a good restaurant close here in Syracuse, as restaurants in Layton are always packed and the traffic is horrible there.

Service was pretty good had very friendly staff. It did take awhile for our food to come, but it had great flavor and good portions! This was our first time here and it was pretty good. Id go there again.

Food is good, but have awful service the few times my family and I went to eat there, very slow and inattentive service.

Always great food and Martin is such a great host. my Marty and I love this restaurant and the burritos and enchilada are delicious. you won’t regret coming here.

Food was delivered fast and accurate. Would have loved more heat to the salsa. It was basically tomatoes and onions. Music was also a bit loud. But overall it was pretty good.

Best tacos in Utah. Great service. Members of my family eat here no less than 2 times per week. Some of them are known to eat here two times every Tuesday for taco Tuesday’s.

Seriously? I love this place. I know they have moved locations a few times, but I will follow them anywhere. When we first discovered them, they were in Layton by McCools. The owner, Martín, was so so nice, and treated us like family. The food is so frickin yummy. Tastes a lot like Costa Vida, probably because Martín managed a chain of them before opening his restaurant. But it is not as expensive as Costa and the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff is just so great. I really really hope they do well, and I will continue to support them.

The service was friendly and the manager even checked on us. It was very hot though and it seemed the air conditioning was struggling on a hot day. They kept our drinks full. No alcohol here though.
My sweet pork enchiladas were tasty. Both my husband and I thought the salsa was too oniony for us.

Starting with the service and ending with paying the bill, everything went smoothly and was super yummy! I got the carne asada tacos for the special and they were nice and yummy! They came with rice and beans which were nice too! Their horchata was to die for! Definitely will stop by in the future when I’m around the area!

Had lunch overall okay. Ordered fajitas okay portion however tortilla’s were very thin. Overall was a bit pricey lunch.

Service Was worse than slow! And the food was just ok. Would definitely never go out of my way to come back!

Had burritos for take out, they were fresh and tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpful! We will be back!

Best restaurant in Syracuse. Great authentic Mexican food. The staff are extremely friendly and really care. I noticed they have a great room where we could have some meetings as well as lunch.
Currently I’m working on project with ABC TV on restaurants. Featuring locally owned restaurants that do a incredible job. This restaurant definitely fits among the best.

Best Mexican in Davis county. I love the street tacos and the ‘à la Mexicana’ is an amazing burrito! Great service and the owner is always working to ensure you have an awesome experience.

Finally! An amazing Mexican restaurant in Syracuse, Utah. Everything was impeccable from the delicious authentic food, to the fun atmosphere and the incredibly personable owner, Martin. We will definitely be eating here often. Anything you order will be the right choice!
