ANAZING! My drunk friend put a hole in my wall and I had to fix it before my mother found out. I went to the Home Depot on Jericho and the workers were SO HELPFUL AND NICE. Made my experience fixing a hole better than I could have ever imagined. I might start punching holes into my own wall just so I have a reason to come back here.

I went in for a few things. All the employees where eager to help! In and out in 15 minutes because of their help. Keep up the good work

I love this store. People are nice and its not super crowded. I know lot of staff over there now since I go there a lot.

I would give 0 if I can. Service is bad. We bought a washing machine, they r install it right now. Very very rude. They talk like they r yelling at you.

The customer service at the Syosset location is excellent. We bought a lot of wood decking, rented the home depot truck, had one of the employees help us load and secure the wood. Unfortunately on the 3 mile drive home, some of the wood spilled on Jericho Turnpike. No one was hurt. I called the store and they assured me the wood would be replaced and I can return the truck the next day without penalty. When I arrived in the morning with the damaged wood, it was replaced, reloaded, safely secured on the truck. What could have been an extremely aggravating situation was diffused with excellent customer service. Thank you Syosset Home Depot!

Another retail nightmare. Ordered online for in-​store pick up, they give me a damaged item and try to hide the fact with a sticker over the hole in the box. I get the item home and have to drive 20 minutes back to Home Depot to exchange it. After calling the store to make sure the item was there and ready for pick up so I wasn’t wasting my time, I get there and they have no idea where it is. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes while one helpful gentleman search the entire store for the last one in stock. There was a line of about 15 people waiting for returns with very unhappy faces on. So many people were asking for the store manager he didn’t even know what to do, the store needs to get its act together.

Like my fellow Unilocaler Thom said, this is by far one of the most friendly Home Depot’s I’ve ever been to. Multiple times I was asked if I needed help with anything, sale associates in abundance. Refreshing as with other HD’s you have to search for a good 10 – 15 minutes before finding somebody to lend you a hand, and they act like you’re bothering them, but not at this Home Depot! Definitely recommend this location if you’re close by, I’d even go as far as saying its worth driving out of your way if you want a better shopping experience.

I don’t know if it’s this store, or a shift in the company in general, but I love this Home Depot. Lots of floor reps, many who have answers for you, and friendly, too. Multiple times I was asked if I needed help. What a change from the usual HD nonsense!
I mean, there were free bottles of water at the door today. Why? I don’t know! But thanks anyway!

I am SO glad/​lucky to have a Home Depot so close to where I live. They pretty much have everything I go in for but sometimes I have to head over to the one in Jericho (again lucky me its so close too) which really caters more to the Pros (better selection of rental tools and fussy bits only used by someone with skill).
This HD always has a greeter and call me old fashioned but I like that.
I noticed today that they are really trying to step up the home décor selections which is great cause Loews has em beat there right now.

I have been to this Home Depot many times but in the past week
I was there 7 times.
I think it is just time for me to pack up and move here or just get a job.
No I don’t come for the enjoyment if that’s what you were thinking. My family is fixing up our house and home depot has everything we need.
The staff here is overly friendly but in a good way!
Every staff member I have encountered was very helpful.
Someone helped me with ply wood one day, the next someone helped me find the perfect squeegee, and the paint people also very helpful.
I think the most helpful was the guy in electric. He brought my parents to all the items they needed. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly.
Oh and the guy in gardens also helpful. Helped us find the perfect nozzle for our garden hose. Also can’t forget the guy in floors. Helped us get our 12 bundles of hard wood floor onto the cart.
I would say this is the best Home Depot I have been to. It is small but they are not lacking in variety.
I am sure that I will be back here many times in the upcoming week.
I hope the staff doesn’t think I am crazy. I promise I am just there because we really need tons of home improvement items.

I usually stick to eating kind of reviews
but I felt the need to review this depot,
here on Long Island these places are a dime a dozen depots, lowes etc
This Syosset depot really stands out
let me begin with thinking the first time I was looking for paint many months back and getting really good friendly help. ok nice
coming back another time to get blinds wow another great experience
THEN yet another visit for storage bins super helpful employes
then today seals the deal for me this is a consistent 5 star
bought high hats from knowledgeable friendly depot man, I mean he really knew his stuff
and the Steve from appliances actually called me to tell me the sku # was wrong on that white fridge he tracked down the right one and on Saturday that french door beauty is coming to my house to store that gallon of milk we keep for cereals in the am, I mean really should one eat out 3 meals a day 7 days a week?

As other have mentioned, it’s not the biggest Home Depot, but its always got everything I may need… or at least what my parents usually ask me to pick up. I’m one of those girls who would never survive in this store if it wasn’t for the friendly staff, and great organization. I must have that wide-​eyed lost look every time I walk in here, and within minutes, someone is helping me find exactly what I need, and out the door very quickly. They take their jobs seriously, and are always very helpful! I think I would like this place more, if I actually knew what half the things were used for, but for my purposes, they rock it!!! They have ample parking, and one of the guys is always more than willing to help you bring some of the bigger items to your car for you if you need help.
My damsel in distress act works every time. This is why I always get my wood here… Sorry I just couldn’t refrain from making a wood joke. I apologize :)

Love this Home Depot. It exceeds every need I have when coming to a home improvement store:
–close parking
–plenty of help
–knowledgeable (!) help
–shopping carts
–a simple layout
–short check out lines
Agreed, it is not as large as other HD’s but I always find what I need here and it gets the job done.

I can not imagine what life was like before Home Depot. Being a home owner now, and having a «fixer upper» on my hands I need this place in my life.
This store has everything you need for every project that might be taking place at your home. The items they carry range from cleaning supplies to building supplies, straight to Christmas trees and decorations during the holiday season.
The service at this particular location is incredible. Just the other day I went there to pick up a few items and I was approached in every aisle by an employee and offered assistance. One of the employees actually carried some storage bins to the register for me since my cart was already filled to capacity.
The employees are not only helpful but they are knowledgeable as well. When asked what type of paint I should use on my on my aluminum siding, they knew just how to help me. They actually suggested I power wash my house before I paint it which for obvious reasons makes sense. These people have an answer for everything and Home Depot has everything you need to make your home beautiful.
With the help of Home Depot I won’t have a «fixer upper» for long.

In and out with helpful staff. This is what you get at home depot. They were out of one thing I was looking for but everything else was quick and easy, which is hard to do when you have the selection HD has.

Better than average Home Depot.
Finally– this location is about half the size of the other area Home Depots and there definitely is a difference in the amount of help available and the knowledge and friendliness of the employees here.
Even though it is smaller than the other Home Depots in the area, they have everything you need — with the bonus that it is almost always easier to find.
The employees are pretty damn helpful here and the extra secret bonus is that this place is set back from the road in a blind spot– so it is almost NEVER crowded.
