I needed two panes of an Anderson bay window replaced. The estimate was reasonable enough (I try to balance price with level of service) and the staff was very friendly. When I confirmed my order, I was told it would take a few weeks to get the glass from Anderson. Two weeks went by when my estimator, Jim, called to schedule the repair. Jim showed up, himself, at the appointed time with a smile and a friendly attitude. He was pleasant and engaging and clearly knew what he was doing. An hour later he was packing up and I had beautiful new glass. This was top level service and renews my belief that it pays to go local. I would recommend Syosset Glass (especially Jim) to any one!!!

Delays Delays Delays. Incompetence, no communication, over-​priced. Do you need any more reasons to stay away? My order sat for 2 months and it’s still not done. All they had to do was cut a piece of glass to size. How hard is it to cut 2 straight edges? Had to take it back and will be going elsewhere. No communication from them within those 2 months. I had to initiate all calls to find out what was going all. Their excuse was that they lost the order, TWICE.

Not cheap but you get what you pay for. I had them come fix a basement window broken from Sandy. It’s an old steel frame and I couldn’t fine a «fix-​it-​guy» with the skills to go it right. This needed old world skills and Syosset Glass has them.
I had to jump through a few hoops to get it done– call store, give contact info, wait for guy to call me back to set appointment to see and then fix, but I’d recommend them.
