History

Established in 2010.

Dr. Barbara Wachs knows how important a healthy and youthful smile is and that’s why she founded ModernSmile professional teeth whitening spa. After working in private practice and then at New York’s Madison Avenue BriteSmile location, Dr. Wachs created ModernSmile. We provide one hour teeth whitening and Invisalign, the clear alternative to braces. Dr. Wachs has performed over 10,000 teeth whitenings, sold over 500,000 whitening products on QVC live television, is the Clinical Director of Smileactives teeth whitening products, and is a certified Invisalign provider. While at the spa, you relax and watch television or listen to music while your smile is transformed.

Dr. Wachs attended University of Pennsylvania and received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Bioligical Basis of Behavior and then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where she also completed her post graduate dental studies. Dr Wachs is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Wachs resides on Long Island with her husband and their 2 children.
