Business Owner

Abalene Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a 3^rd generation, family owned and operated business for over 50 years, located in Syosset, New York. Wayne, the son of Walter-​the original owner-​started when he was a kid running to get coffee for everyone and emptying the office trash cans. He learned the ropes at an early age and followed in his father’s footsteps of running the business. He got his work ethic from his father, a U.S. Marine and says,

«When you are the son of a Marine… you are pushed to do your best work and be proud of it.»

Over 10 years ago, Wayne’s son Matthew joined the company family. Wayne and Matthew run the business today and are licensed Master Plumbers, HVAC-​EPA Certified to handle refrigerants, NYS Backflow Certified and National Grid Value Plus Installers.
