Ava’s Flowers

I placed my flower order on Thursday eve and paid extra $ 10.00 for a morning Saturday delivery for my friend’s bday. Ava’s Flowers never delivered and when I called for explanation (which took forever to get a person to phone) I was told that type of flower arrangement was not in stock and would I like the «shop’s house choice» that would not be delivered until MONDAY!!! I requested my money back and apologized to my bday friend that I was not able to send her flowers on her bday! It is very disappointing when you rely on a company that claims to have high standards according to their website. Wish I had read the previous Unilocal comment and went w/​a reliable Florist!

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my friend on his wedding day. I ordered 3 days in advance and gave detailed instructions to make sure that all would go smoothly. It didn’t. They never delivered the flowers to him and when checking on the website, it said that it was «due to be delivered.» I called the next morning and after a 10 minute ordeal trying to get to a human being, then 15 minutes on hold while she check on the order, I was told that a «technical error occurred» and they never processed the order. I was offered a store credit and given a whopping $ 9.99 refund for my trouble. I understand that mistakes happen but this was a once in a lifetime occasion that I entrusted to the wrong company. I now have a credit that will go unused as I will never order from Ava’s again and suggest others do the same.
