Donuts are not really that fresh a night small selection person at night shift not very friendly service not that good I would only go if it’s your last resort this place has gone down hill used to be good shop but management needs to get new employees and make sure they have fresh donuts at all times since they are 24hr business

Horrible customer service! I went in and my donut was crushed so I asked him to change it and he stated all donuts are the same if I didn’t like it go elsewhere… really??? This guy is always so bitter. He’s the short Hispanic dude. Not my fault you work at a donut shop. Dirt bag. Tried to give them a chance again and they are just rude.

I’m giving it one star due to service not from lack of good food, the attendant on the graveyard shift is one of the most bitter individuals I have ever encountered in my life, when you walk in he will not acknowledge you until you yell to the back for him to help you even though he knows you are there, when he does help you he acts as if you just shot one of his kids in the face, he gives off the worst vibe you can ever receive from a person and he makes you feel so uncomfortable you regret ever walking into the place, I believe the establishment is family owned and therefore complaining will not do any good because most likely he is related to that family.

This yum yums location is a convenient drive from the beautiful Veterans Park, after a hike hit this spot up for some pretty decent donuts, don’t expect much out of the interior, doesn’t seem like its meant for dine in. Customer service has a little bit of attitude but tolerable. Be patient with them.

I have been here a few times and every time I am disappointed. They have no customer service and there is never anyone in the front to serve you. It usually takes about 10 minutes without any other customers in front of you to be served. If you ask for one cold croissant sandwich clear your schedule for the next 15 minutes to watch Paco or Juan make your sandwich while they text their friends or family or check their facebooks. One time the guy did not wait for us to leave before pulling our his phone and texting. Do not go if you’re in a hurry you are better off going to Vons nearby their pink donuts are amazing.

Do not come to this donut store due to the customer service, very rude and not able to understand the girl and manager who works there little English speaking. I complain to the manager Jose I didn’t get no apology or comfort from him regarding the girl who works there. No hello or thank you customer service! They need to put a sad face instead of a smiling face on yum yum sign.

We decided to make a donut run at 8/9ish pm and obviously googled what shops would still be open. This one came up as open 24hrs so we opted for it. When we came in, no greeting just blank looks towards us as if questioning why we were there. There was this family of 8 in front of us and we heard the mom ask if they had anymore donuts coming out. I peeked towards the racks of donuts and let me tell you that they had like 6 donuts left. The worker told the family that these were the only donuts left. Excuse me? You’re going to be 24hrs open and expect to serve people with only 6 donuts in stock? I mean I get that you don’t want to fill up the pantry like you do at 12pm when it’s busy to avoid having to throw away donuts but you need a bit more than that. Needless to say that we left to look for another shop I don’t recommend going at night.

The service is bad, they don’t welcome you in a positive way and have a «we are the only donut shop in the valley» attitude. I was next in line and told this one guy that I wanted a dozen donut and when I started telling what donuts I wanted, he cuts me off and looks at another customer(girl sitting down that had already ordered) and ask if she has been helped, wtf! Second, I pick for donuts and then told him to pick the rest but no sugar or coconut donuts, guess what? I found a sugar donut. I will never go back to this donut shop and have found better shops since than.

The store name is misleading as there are two«yum“s in the name. One yum would be exaggerated two Yums is lying. Decided to get some coffee before work, and came in. This is quite the day laborer hot spot, myself included. The service is friendly and bilingual. There is plenty of seating around. But the blueberry filling tasted off I almost complained but figure given a chance I might come to appreciate the off taste given time. As of the posting of this review I am still waiting for my coffee to cool…

Living in this area gives you limited breakfast/donuts spots. We come here periodically to grab a breakfast bagel which are always delicious fresh and hot! They have coffee, smoothies, and even fresh juices. Donuts are on point and they have a nice variety. However, this is Sylmar, so don’t expect your friendly neighborhood service with a smile or a hello. Expect rude, bad attitude, dirty looks EVERYTIME. If your prepared to go through being talked down to, that comes along with some good food than you’ll be good to go! It never fails to suprise me that we continue to eat here with such rude service. Then I’m reminded when I bite into my hot fresh made bagel, that the food keeps me coming back. Beware of the older gentleman behind the counter, he’s a yeller.

Let me start off by saying the donuts, coffee, sandwiches, and drinks are great. The remodel looks great and everything is always sparkly clean. BUUUT!(Here comes the big fat but) The service is horrible they greet you with a sigh instead of a smile and the eye rolls keep coming. Regardless of what you order or who helps you you are sure to get service with a frown.

My son and I went in for a bagel sandwich and I must say, the customer service was horrible. The guy(an older man with colored eyes) was pretty rude. I asked if jalapenos came in the sandwich and he said«It comes with everything» not really answering my question but leaving me to assume that it does. He just didn’t seem very happy.

definitely a place you can get donuts when you’re on the go. Service here definitely depends on who is working cause from my few visits I’ve witnessed two opposite types of service, one where the staff member was happy to help and another where you could tell he hated his job. Prices are about average compared to their competitors, but taste wise, sorry but I’ll have to go with other ma/pa locations. Don’t get my wrong, Yum Yum isn’t bad, but if I were to choose between the two, I’d take my business else where. But if you’re in a hurry and need some donuts for a job potluck or want to treat your coworkers to some breakfast you can’t go wrong here. Just hope for a good staff member to help you out cause you want to start your day off right.

Horrible sub standard service. All I wanted was a coffee but the female cashier apparently was not trained to pour liquid in a cup. But she WAS trained in giving attitutde. I wanted this place to be my new daily spot to grab a large coffee before work because Buffalo Bruce’s coffee shop(who makes a wayyy better coffee anyway) isn’t open early mornings. I’ll never go to yumyum again and I’ll encourage others to do the same. FAIL!!!

Being born in Sylmar, I’ve been coming to Yum Yum Donuts on Hubbard since I was a kid. The crew who have been working there for the last few years are always pretty crabby. Coffee is pretty decent, donuts are decent, blended drinks are ok. Most of their specialty coffee drinks are the kind of coffee you get at any gas station where you push«french vanilla» or «cappuccino» and it starts spitting it out of a machine. The prices have always been reasonable though, for what you’re getting. I’d say my favorite thing on the menu is a toasted onion bagel with cream cheese. Be warned: if you order anything that they have to actually prepare for you,(bagels, blended drink, sandwich, dozen donuts) you’ll get a sigh/eye roll from the staff. Sadly, one of my favorite spots as a kid is now being run by people with the«buy it and get out» kind of people.

My local donut shop. Literally, right off of the 2 freeway and just down the street from mission collage. Parking sucks. Prices are for the most part reasonable. The service is a hit or miss. The donuts are average. The best part about this donut shop is that it’s open 24⁄7.
