I literally just left this place. The reason I’m giving this place a 1 star is because I called about an hour ago to make sure the SPLASHPAD was open. They said that it was so I got my toddler and niece ready and was looking forward to the slash pad. We got there and the person who said that the splash pad was opened got it confused for the pool. He said the splash pad wouldn’t be open for another 3 weeks. How in the world do you confuse a splash pad for pool? I had to tell my niece and toddler that the splash pad wasn’t open and now looking for a different activity for them since the person I spoke with doesn’t know the difference between a splash pad and a pool.

I needed a place to take my nephews. So I went drove to Sylmar park because I’ve was told there’s a outdoor water park. So I went on Tuesday morning around 10:30am. Played around the park until the lifeguards opened the gate. A great place to take the kids if the adult doesn’t want to get into the water. There’s a splash pad area aside from the Sylmar’s pool. It’s gated separately, so one doesn’t have to worry about the kids getting into the bigger pool. The splash zone is fairly small. There is no lifeguard on the deck, not really necessary. The splash zone does not have a dress code, it’s free, and it’s not necessary to be arms reach of your child. It’s opens at 11am. Definitely taking the boys here again. Next time I’m bringing my lawn chair.

Great pool that’s open during the summer time, serves the Sylmar area… Cooling down place on those hot days
