I will definitely be calling LeadingEdge Plumbing for any other plumbing issues I may have down the line. JC one of the plumbers showed up on time, explained exactly what he was going to do, worked quickly to solve the problem, and gave us pointers on how to avoid having some of the same problems in the future. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes and my plumbing was working better than ever. I strongly recommend calling LeadingEdge if you are in need of efficient and professional plumbers.

I’ve worked with both Robert and JC on separate jobs. Both guys were great, and in my work with JC, he was able to find a leak that Bear Plumbing missed. He figured out a creative way to access one of my bathrooms to fix the leak whereas the other guys wanted to cut into the outside of the house. I’ll use LeadingEdge for all my plumbing needs moving forward!

We had our sewer pipe backed up, couldn’t figure out why so I called LeadingEdge. They sent out a technician when they said they would. Technician went straight to work, after trying to unclogged what initialed seemed to be a regular clog, he discovered that the problem was more complicated. After running over 100ft of snake line, the technician told me that he needed to install another access point before the home to get to root of the problem. I gave him the green light and he installed a Y joint and created an access outside of the house. I saw it as an investment so no worries. I was more concerned with the main sewer being broken. Once installed, they ran a Hyrdro jetter and camera to get to the root cause. Once there, they discovered roots, dirt and grease that had built up for many years. My main 4″ line was ok, the 6″ line was getting roots through the joints but not broken. Phew!
They managed to clean it out and gave me another couple of years before I have to actually replace the main sewer pipe. I was very impressed with the time they invested in the work. They got the job done right the first time. I’m keeping this guys on my contact list for any future jobs!
I’m just glad this happened before the holidays! I couldn’t image dealing with this in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner!

I got referred to leading edge by my contractor. JC came to my house. I had gotten an opinion from another plumber who wanted to drill into the street and break up my concrete. JC ran his camera and showed me the issue, saving me thousands of dollars in not having to do something major. They ran a hydrojet and gave me a 1 year warranty on the work and promised to come back if the problem came back.
Bottom line leading edge is very competent in what they are doing. They have the leading edge technology. Eg latest hydrojet.
They might be slightly more expensive then other companies but well worth it with the warranty they offer.

We had an outside PVC pipe that cracked and was spraying water at an alarming rate on a Sunday afternoon. I turned off the water line and called my usual plumber first, as they had just been out to change the valve on the pipe on Friday. Unfortunately, my call went to voicemail (though to be fair, they did call me back about 35 minutes later) and after waiting about 20 minutes, I gave Leading Edge a call. Juan answered and was very courteous. He said he would check with his guy in the field, and called back in 10 minutes with an estimated arrival time. He even called another time when he verified the tech was about 10 minutes away. Great follow-​up! I never felt like I was left hanging. The plumber arrived, quickly reviewed the situation and his parts (he didn’t have this connector part so had to run to Home Depot down the street), and gave me the cost before performing the work. He worked quickly and even went above and beyond to secure the flimsy pipe to the deck roof, and the price was very reasonable for a Sunday emergency appointment. I would happily use them again.

Wish I could give a zero star rating to this business!!! They are only trying to cheat you out of your money! Do not hire them! At first I was impressed because when I called them, they sent someone over to give us a quote just a few hours later. However, my husband was home without me when the guy came by. He told my husband that he would charge $ 1300 to replace a nine foot, straight section of 1 ¼″ galvanized pipe that was easily accessed and a foot above the ground (only two hours worth of work for one person)!!! My husband couldn’t get a hold of me so he said «ok»! I was furious when I came home!!!
I quickly did some internet research and found the following: «In estimating the cost having a new gas line professionally installed, expect to pay $ 15-​$ 25 a linear foot to hire someone to handle everything — labor, materials, testing and any required permits — and there’s often a minimum charge of at least $ 100.» This company was charging us $ 150/​linear foot and it would be impossible to imagine an easier installation!!!
To verify what I found on the internet, I immediately called another plumber in town and described the pipe type, length, and location. The other plumber said it would cost $ 40 to buy 20 feet of pipe, but marked up, a plumber would typically charge $ 100-​$ 150 on the high end. This other plumber charges $ 125/​hour and said the job would take him two hours. He therefore would charge $ 350 for the job. He said that the very highest a company might charge might be $ 500 for the job. He was shocked when I told him this company was charging us $ 1300!!!
When he made the cost breakdown at the end, the plumber brought the price down to $ 800, which was still outrageously expensive. The other plumber said he mostly likely felt guilty for completely ripping us off. He still charged $ 650 for two hours of labor, which is over two times the normal/​reasonable price.
So mad! NEVER go to this company!!! They didn’t even do a leak check at the beginning to verify that the job needed to be done in the first place! Our pipe looked rusty since it was outside, but we never smelled gas. That’s the first thing the other company said they always do.

These guys are outstanding! Robert, Carlos and Harley were not only great at what they do, but also really good guys. I located them on Unilocal,received a call almost immediately, and the next day when I got back to them, they were able to come out to the house and get us a quote. A quote that was over $ 1,000 LESS than the other companies! We felt confident in their abilities based off what we read online, and the guys were able to start, and finish, the job on a Sunday. My wife and I were so pleased with the care they showed our home as they protected all the areas they weren’t directly working on. I’m a neat freak, and was thoroughly impressed with their cleanliness. I most definitely recommend Leading Edge, and will be utilizing their services when needed in the future.

Our hot water tank took a dump on a Saturday night. JC, the Prince of Plumbers, came out on a Sunday, with an assistant, and fixed it. He also fixed everything else he could find and gave me advice about general maintenance. He’s a great guy and quite obviously an expert in a trade with more than its share of, shall we say, less expert practitioners. I would use LeadingEdge again for big plumbing jobs in an instant and have made a very careful note of their contact details. Thanks, JC!

Leading edge has done several jobs at different locations for me and every time their work has been exceptional! They do excellent work, are very professional and get straight to the point. JC and his crew are wonderful.

If all their technicians are as professional, courteous and reliable as Robert Ferman, or Hugo or Milton, LeadingEdge can send anyone to my house the next time I call with a plumbing problem. That being said, we had a rather untimely and relatively large plumbing problem and I dreaded having to call a plumber without a referral. However, I saw the coupon and decided to take a chance since it was an emergency.
Robert arrived on time and very thoroughly assessed the situation to provide a solution. There were some unforeseen complications but Robert kept me updated and explained every step. We even discussed less permanent (and cheaper) fixes, but decided it was time to address the «deferred maintenance» on this house. We weren’t happy that our underground clay pipes had started to crack, but we are beyond ecstatic that we found Robert Ferman and LeadingEdge!

Great experience. Needed to have a preventative rooting done on house sewer line. These folks were excellent — nice on the phone, scheduled when I wanted, showed up on time, did a great job, guys who came out were very knowledgeable and friendly. Rooted the line, took a video of the work. Great price.
Summary: they delivered 100%, were nice and the price was very, very good!

Such a pleasant experience. We hired JC and his guys to come over to fix the pool heater at my grandma’s in Tujunga. I was expecting a big fiasco since our regular pool man made it sound pretty complicated. But I called LeadingEdge and they were there two hours later and had the heater fixed that day AND turned the gas back on for us. They totally know what they are doing. He didn’t charge anything to come and take a look and was very reasonably priced when he did find the problem. Honest and fair. Love this company.

It was serendipitous to find Juan. We were about to open our candy store and didn’t know we needed to do all this plumbing work done. While figuring that out along with all the other things needed to open our doors, we left a suggestion box of what candy people would like. Juan dropped us an email asking if we’ll have certain candies he was looking for to find out we needed him more than he us!
He spent night and day helping us get up and running as soon as possible. Without his help, we wouldn’t know what to do!
I’ve encountered many shady plumbers and he’s as honest and straight forward as you can get. Pricing is very reasonable for all the work and extra work he does for each project. He takes it personal to make sure all work is done right the first time, no mickey mousing or cutting corners. Wish we had people as honest as this guy!

Recently I called JC of Leading Edge to come out and give me an evaluation.
We saw with the aid of his camera the roots had finally taken their toll on our old sewer pipes. We discovered a hole that was leaking sewage and immediately assessed the situation. The liner to the existing pipeline was the way to go. JC gave what we believed was a fair offer to do the job. His equipment and expertise were right on. The job was done in less than a day and my shrubs were put back exactly the way they were before the dig. Leading Edge took their time describing the entire process. Cannot say enough about their knowledge of sewer issues. Would recommend JC and his crew to anyone in need of main line clogs and restoration. They’re great people, who can evaluate a job and complete it on time and work with you on the cost.

Just wanted to give an update. It’s been over six months since our plumbing pipes started caving in due to tree roots and old pipes, and we have not had a single problem! I’m still very happy with the service, and my boyfriend and I were SO relieved that they let us pay installment payments. When I told my boyfriend’s parents how much we paid, they said we paid MUCH less than they did several years ago for the same problem. We’re satisfied customers, and I still can’t believe that less than 24 hours after our pipes started leaking sewage into the neighbor’s yard (yes– ewwww), LeadingEdge Plumbing had snaked the pipe, videoed the pipe, hydrojetted the pipe, dug a hole, and begun putting in new piping. That is fast service.
