Heart 2 Heart Grooming

They no longer have their large dog special. I’ve brought all of my dogs here but will be looking for a new groomer now. Very unfortunate, I really liked the way the ran before the owner change.

It’s been awhile since I came here, I believe it was around November in 2015.
I brought in my kitten, around ⁶⁄₇ months at the time, for a bath. I didn’t notice anything wrong until I got home and noticed he wasn’t very responsive. He’s a very active cat and has never been in a groggy like phase returning from any other groomer or just in general. But he was just still and not responding to his name or made much movement. I’d try to play with him, but he showed no interest. I tried the «Putting a blanket over their head» game and he didn’t even budge, when before he’d always get out and pounce. He was drugged. Thank you for drugging my cat without my consent, if you couldn’t handle bathing my cat then at least have the decency of phoning me and asking for permission before giving unknown substances to my cat. Thanks. I’ve been going to my current groomer in Valley Glen and never had this problem. You say you care about our furry friends when it is shown quite the opposite with my experience.

They do not accommodate to the needs of the pets. Very bad experience with their grooming.

Very unpleasant experience with this groomer. After having an appointment for my pets, I decided to call them and provide special instructions before having someone else dropping them off. Due to me having to go to work. Not willing to hear the customer out for special instructions on my pets well– being. Due to being busy, not having a pen nor paper to write down my information. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. So I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I have come here since 2003.
I have brought my cats and dogs.
There is a new owner and *me no like*.
Rude staff and manager.
Will not be returning.
Plenty of groomers out there. Do not go to this one.

Spoke with the owner and she was kind enough to explain what could have happened during that time. In all honesty, my kids would rather bring their pets here for their grooming services.

Thank you heart 2 heart for always making Ruby look fabulous! She loves going to the groomers. Everyone is so sweet and attentive.

We will never go any where else again! Heart2Heart is a place that we trust and love. Customer service is always terrific and our groomer Susie is an artist. Our Autumn never is scared to go there and comes home happy! The place is clean and they really listen to what you want done to your pet… we can’t say enough about this place… Thank you!!!

We still love Heart to Heart grooming they always do an amazing job on my pup he never comes back hurt or scared. He was very matted recently and the stylist/​Owner took and extra 45 min in taking the knots out of his hair because she didn’t want to cut it shorter than what I wanted. She truly went above and beyond out expectations. Always friendly and awesome. They love my Louie

Great service over the phone and in person !! Never do I trust anyone with my babies especially bear who go groomed today ! And I was amazed on how perfect he looked and how good he did ! Will for sure be a life long customer

I moved and drive from long beach to Sylmar just to get my dogs groomed because they are so friendly!!! The receptionist is amazing… we love her!!! My yorkies always look adorable and they never come out of the back stressed! You guys rock! Thanks again!

I am so glad I found this place. everyone here is very nice. My dog a Max a Maltipoo always comes out styling. They are sweet and very patient. every crazy hair style or coloring that I tell them to do they do it. My dog does not walking with his tail tucked between his legs because he knows that they treat him nice here. He may not be able to speak but his body language tells me that I will keep on coming here because he feels comfortable. Thank you to the grooming staff & to the wonderful reception that is always friendly smiling and funny.

Awesome place, love taking my little one here they always do a good job on her, she looks great when I pick her up. I usually get her the haircut with nail trimming good pricing as well

Love Heart to Heart! I will never take my dog, Jacob, anywhere else. I moved to Valencia and I’d still rather make the drive down to Sylmar than find another groomers.
I use to take Jacob to a different groomers in Sylmar and I could tell they were mean to him. I would always have to call Jacob to get out of the cage because he was so scared and wouldn’t let anyone grab him. Its a different story at Heart to Heart. They can carry him out to me and he’s completely fine. Always have to trust a dog’s instincts.
The staff is very friendly, professional, and nice. You can tell they really care about your pet. They do accept walk ins but they make their appointments priority first so I recommend making an appointment ahead of time. They are definitely the best groomers in the valley.

I am so happy and blessed to have found this place. Wonderful customer service, experts with animals. I couldn’t be happier. My babies are so happy.

In awe! I heard about this place through a bad review from the groomers I used to take my dog to. Decided to give them a call and spoke to Susie who is very friendly, sweet and informative as well as her staff.
I wouldn’t leave my dog somewhere that didn’t feel right and Heart to Heart doesn’t make me feel that way. They were finished with him in a suitable amount of time… I would recommend making an appointment though. My little Jax looked so cute and clean cut when I picked him up!
Bottom line, support your local groomers and go to Heart to Heart groomers! As a customer you’ll leave happy and so will your pet!

I’ve always taken my dogs here and each time they come out lookin’ dapper and cute all over again! Yannoe, because i like to drop them off looking like they rose from the swamp of hell. But heart 2 heart never fails me and my three furry little babes. The boys usually come home with neck ties and the girls either get bows in their hair or like today, Daisy got a flower around her neck.
I sometimes try to cut their hair myself just to save some money but lets face it, they come out looking like they went thru a shredding machine. Its like cutting bangs for the first time and how uneven it gets and then you try to fix it by cutting some more off to level it but it doesn’t work so it ends up looking like a disaster and your only solution is to pin them up /​to the side till it grows back otherwise, you just stay home sulking in your mistake. Yea. So i leave it up to the professionals.
I took a star off only because i dropped them off at 1145am and didn’t get called to pick them up till 7pm! Thats the longest i’ve ever had to wait for them. Granted, i did just walk-​in with no appt but i called beforehand and she said to bring them in whenever i feel comfortable and she did warn me that it’ll take awhile because of the appts but i honestly didn’t think it’d take them all day esp because i had errands to run today that i didn’t end up doing because of the distance and i didn’t want to risk getting a call from the groomers and then my little babes would have to wait because forsure i’d get stuck in traffic. Anyway, its just one of those «bad case of the Mondays» i guess.
But still! That doesn’t take away from the fact that when it is my dogs turn they do a crisp job that leaves me more than pleased with their quality of work. Now i can go back to cuddling my little babe because instead of looking like a foot he’s soft and squishy again.
