We specialize in complete automotive repair. We specialize in anything from car maintenance to engine rebuilding. We do maintenance for your car such as oil changes and tune-​ups as well as all your braking system needs such as pads, rotors, and brake shoes. We work on cooling systems such as water pumps, thermostats, radiators and more. We also specialize in fixing any electrical problems. If it’s broken, we fix it.

Established in 1980.

Previously known as ARC (American Road Classics), Chubby’s Automotive has been in the automotive business helping local and long distant customers with their automotive repairs. We are a family-​based company located in Sylmar, in the San Fernando Valley.

After learning the automotive business from my father, Tranquilino Hernandez, I have been working on cars not for only as a business, but also as hobby. I have an enjoyment in working on classic cars. For my business, I strive to treat my customers like my own family. I give my customers the fairest price with the honesty they can trust.
