Rastelli Direct

I am writing this review not of Rastelli Direct, but of Pure Land America Rib Eye Steaks bought at Costco. I would like to echo the sentiments of Mike K and Joseph Y. Our experience was almost exactly as they state. Bought for my birthday dinner, we used three of them, and every one was tough, gristly, and without ribeye flavor — and really, not exactly resembling the round, marbeled look of ribeye. My daughter insists Imust take the unused ones back, and I am intending to do that. Thank you if you will publish my review, which does not indict Rastelli, which may be distributing this product without knowing of their poor quality.

I would strongly second Mike K’s review. These are awful. They were the toughest, most gristley steaks (of any cut) we have ever had. Much worse then the cheapest flank or flap steak. Over half the steak was gristle. On tip of that, they tasted «old» too. We’re also heading back to Costco for a refund.

Bought a 6 pack of their «Pure Land America» frozen organic grass fed ribeyes from Costco. Roughly $ 44 for almost 4 lbs. A simple rub of garlic powder, sea salt and black pepper.
They were grisly, tough and tasted terrible. I was embarrassed to serve these to my friends.
Don’t waste your time or money. If you want organic, grass fed, go to a high end market or butcher, pay the going rate and buy fresh.
I’m off to Costco to return the remaining steaks and get a refund.

This is a review for Rastelli Direct. I ordered my first shipment about a week ago, it arrived just 2 days later frozen solid, as they said. The food quality is simply amazing!
I ordered a bit of everything just to try it all. First night was the Pre-​Cooked Ribs and Scallop Potatoes, the meat came right off the bone and you could taste that they had been smoked for awhile. I had the collassal shrimp next, quite expensive, but again great!
The best thing I’ve had as of now is the Filet, and boy was it good. I’ve eaten at quite a few 5-​star restaurants and this was just as good.
The quality of the food, and the fact that I know what I’m getting, a healthy product which Rastelli has control over from start to finish, is amazing!
Tonight, Seared Ahi Tuna, of course from Rastelli Direct!

) a direct marketing website where you can purchase «restaurant quality» frozen meats and foods.
The good — everything is beautifully packaged and individually flash-​frozen and vacuum packed. I enjoyed my veal-​leg slices and could cook just ONE at a time which was great. The also ship right to your door with plenty of dry ice. The website is easy to use and your friend (whoever refers you) gets 5% credit from your purchase.
The bad — in order to get the prices to drop from ridiculously expensive to insanely high, you either have to join as a Rastelli Consultant (minimum monthly order requirement) or join the «Smart Shopper» program — which drops the price 20%. Still too damned high. And they try to lock you in to a monthly auto-​ship feature.
Oh and the $ 19.00 (about $ 16 after the discount) Steamazing frozen entrees (2 for 16 is ridiculous still) were glorified lean cuisines.
No thanks, Rastelli. The quality just does not justify the price. (They have to build in comissions for your upline.)
I will order again — but not every month. No way.
My steaks are gonna continue to come from Omaha.
