History

Established in 1998.

The owner of EVI, Stan Boyd, is a veteran of NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch, and Craftsman Truck Series competition from 1997 – 2005.

He has crew chiefed and managed multi-​million dollar race teams, overseeing the fabrication, set-​up, and assembly of 200 mph race cars.

After retiring in 2006, Stan decided to channel that knowledge and experience into a premier custom hot rod shop and automotive repair, Engineered Victories Inc.

Business Owner

Stan Boyd was born in Holly, Michigan and has been racing for much of his adult life. He steadily moved up through the racing classes, starting in street stocks in 1989 and jumping to the pro-​stock class in 1992. In 1995, Stan competed in the Super Late Model Class, where he won the points championship and was named «Rookie of the Year» at Auto City — the only driver ever to achieve this combination simultaneously. In 1996, he began competing in the Hooters Cup Series, Main Event Series and ICEMAN Series, where he was also named «Rookie of the Year.»

In 1998, Stan and his team, Engineered Victories Inc. (EVI), decided to step it up a notch and began competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

After retiring in 2006, Stan decided to channel that knowledge and experience into a premier custom hot rod shop, Engineered Victories Inc.
