History
Established in 2014.
Family owned and operated, a fusion of blended family from central Mexico and Sandy Mush NC that loves to cook and share food with those we love. The love of family and food has encouraged us to create Hildalgo style Mexican food that is very traditional, eating at El Lemon is like being transported to a small village in central Mexico. Our salsas are our own unique reciepes and are super hot to very mild, there is a taste that everyone will love.
Tamales on Friday (chicken verde, chicken roho, and vegetarian all gluten free)
Saturday and Sunday barbeque lamb, cevichie, menudo, pozole, in house made tortillias on weekend.
All corn tortillias are gluten free

Business Owner
Grew up in Western NC on a family farm in Madison County spent time in industry and returned to the mountains to have a family. Met and married Fernando and we began the stonework business and last year opened El Lemon. We source as much meat and vegetables as possible from the family farm in Sandy Mush and from other local farmers.
When you visit you will meet our children Anna, Zya and Roscoe as they each spend some time in the resturant each day.
