History

Established in 2001.

The dentists at Paradise Dental Associates bring a wide variety of expertise to the practice. Besides general dentistry we also have a team of dentists with postdoctoral training in Periodontology (Gum Treatments) and Endodontic (Root Canal) therapies. This allows our patients to receive virtually all of their care in our office. This greatly reduces the need to refer our patients to other specialty offices.

Both Drs. Hamelburg and Dr. Pastan were classmates in the Class of 1991 at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Callum was a member of the Tufts Class of 1992. All 4 live in Marblehead/​Swampscott and have maintained a friendship since meeting at Dental School in the late 80’s.

Business Owner

Dr. Stephen Hamelburg graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. Prior to dental school he received his B.A. in biology from Brandeis University in 1987. Stephen is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon. OKU is an academic society for only the top academic and clinical performers of graduating dental classes.
