The PawPlex is Suwanee’s Georgia’s première pet services destination, pet grooming salon, pet boarding, pet play care and pet boutique. Our award-​winning groomers are certified and trained to provide your pet with a full range of spa services, lots of love, kindness and a consistent beauty experience during every visit.

The PawPlex offers exclusive services to pet parents and luxury pet care with overnight boarding accommodations, canine daycare programs and premium grooming services for both dogs and cats. We offer a variety of industry leading products to aid in cleaning your dog without messing your house. Our PawWash includes shampoo, conditioner, recirculating power wash, towels and dryer. Be sure to call ahead to make sure the tubs are free. Our Goal is to help your dog love the grooming salon experience. In addition to the nationally recognized styling services other services are available to include Show Trims, Nail Painting, Flea Treatments and Teeth Brushing.

Manager

Terissa has worked at The PawPlex since 2008. She has now held every position in the shop from Kennel Technician, Bather, Stylist, Lead Stylist, and now, Manager/​Lead Stylist. You’ve probably all seen Terissa’s smiling face at one time or another and your pups probably know Hunter, Alibi, & Nemo (her furry family) from playtime together at The PawPlex. I have been taking my dog in for day acre and grooming for 2 years. It is the best. As a young puppy he had started eating furniture. Once he started going to the Pawplex, all of that behavior stopped, even going just a half day made a huge difference. He loves going and cannot wait to get out the car when we get there.

The Paw Plex came through for me when I needed help the most! I have been boarding my cats there long term during a stressful time and it is so wonderful to know that my girls are well cared for by their staff. I come by to visit my kitties a few times a week and I can tell that they are taken care of and I feel happy to have found them a place where I don’t have to worry. All of the staff members are so friendly and have been great when I bring my children along. We have been made to feel like family and I would recommend them to anyone needing long or short term boarding (dogs or cats) or for their grooming services. Every time I come by, I am greeted by happy, friendly dogs and it seems like all the staff cares for the animals as if they were their own pets.

We started out with a boarding stay a few months back. I had only read reviews and was going on a gut feeling when we decide to drop Mr Wendell off. Thanks to the pawplex, he had an awesome stay! He loved it so much and was supper happy when we came to pick him up. On our pick up, we were told about daycare and how much she thought Mr Wendell would enjoy it… so we tried it out. He had a blast and still does every time he comes in for daycare, or occasional boarding. I love this place and I’m so happy that we found a place that cares as much as I do for my Mr Wendell!!!

The CEO Joel has resolved my issues to satisfaction. I am completely satisfied with the resolution and Missy has returned on 8÷29÷2015. The service Missy received was great. She looks so cute and like my Lil Missy all over again. Thank you for resolving this issue and going above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer!

Review for the boarding:
Price is better than anywhere else I could find AND the dogs are not kenneled for the whole time. At least I would like to believe they did not keep my dog, Caesar in a kennel for the whole time. When I picked him up, he was ecstatic to see me but was not crazy with energy meaning he had some level of activity for the week. I’ve placed him in a kennel service before for 4 days and paid for ONLY the kennel. When we got home he was crazy for about 30 minutes so I needed to find a place where he could interact with people and other dogs while paying a reasonable price.
Caesar does have some scabs around his elbows but that is not a huge issue. I’m guessing it’s from
the 7PM-​7AM overnight stay in the kennel. He seemed happy when I picked him up and he’s happy to be back home. I left him for 9 days and will definitely come back in the future when needed.
All staff members were very professional.

We just moved to the area and have taken our little Jack in twice to be groomed. Both times he was ready in a few hours, something that has never happened at other groomers. Jack prefers people to other dogs so I like that he isn’t there for hours and hours. Staff have always been very professional towards me and warm and caring with Jack. Prices are a bit high but well worth it.

Joel understood the situation and took care of it as a business owner should. I don’t want my review to hurt the overall ratings because I know most of the staff are nice people. I understand business owners have many challenges with employees and only have so much control. However, we are rating the business and not the people. For how the situation was handled– I change my review to a 4 stars. As long as Joel is around, I don’t foresee a problem with customer service as an establishment. Thank you.

We boarded our small dog with them over Christmas and were very disappointed. The bag we send her stuff in got torn to shreds, they lost a few of her toys (somewhat understandable), and apparently she peed in her crate every day and they never cleaned it out. I understand the holidays are really busy and they normally have up to 50 animals at a time but to make her sleep in her piss every day is completely unacceptable. She also had boogers all in her fur and eyes when we picked her up (even though she had just had a bath) and a scratch on her head we weren’t told about and would not have found had we not given her another bath when we got home because of how badly she still smelled. We will not be using PawPlex ever again.

Brought my boxers here on Black Friday so I could wash them myself and the manager offered to clean them for me at a better price and and he was much faster then I could have been. He even managed to get the Georgia clay off of their white fur when other groomers said they couldn’t do it. Thanks Pawplex! You’ll be seeing my boxers again.

My baby girl needed a quick bath and toenail trim I hadn’t had time to do with a busy schedule. I requested an online appt and were able to accolade me last minute which really appreciated. She came home super happy and tired which usually means she was running around. Her coat was soft and shiny and nails were not too short or still sharp. Overall we had a very good experience this time around and will be back, I may even try the daycare to see how that goes. There are a lot of I recommended reviews on here so I’m not sure what is up with that but our experience was good the only thing I would recommend is a bow or bandana after grooming! Just a little extra perk that we like. We shall see! Maybe they are under new management since the previous reviews? Does anyone know?

I take my puppy for day care. He loves going and now if he gets in the car, he thinks he is going to day care. I love the part day option. I can go shopping and when I pick him up he is quiet all evening. He also gets groomed there and the prices are the same as Pet Smart. On those days I let him play in the am, then get groomed. It has made things much better

Took my shihtzu here once before and liked this place. Took him back this past Saturday, 05÷18÷13 and the groomer stuck my dog in the eye and they didn’t say a thing! My dog kept whining and the next day his eye was swollen shut. The vet confirmed a laceration as deep and wide as a pencil eraser and the dog is now recovering from a corneal ulcer! Not only cruel but extremely irresponsible and unprofessional-​will NOT trust with my dog ever again.

After driving around to three other places looking for Evo dog food for my husky I found it here. Of course, there were no prices on the dog food so I grabbed a bag and hoped for the best. It was pretty expensive ($ 33.10 for a 13.2 lbs bag) which is to be expected for premium dog food but still ouch! Anyway, the people were okay I felt like the lady checking me out was trying to rush me. I was also surprised at how small the place is there is a wall of dog food a little cart of food and then a grooming area and that’s it. I’m sure I’ll be back next time I need dog food unless I can find it at a place closer to my house.

I took my little guy, Max, here for hos most recent grooming & the Paw Plex did a really lovely job!
They’re just minutes away from my front door — such a great location! And everyone I came in contact with was extremely nice & knowledgeable; calling my little Maxie a «sweetie» and paying him all kinds of attention, even just for the few minutes after his hair ‘do was complete, but before I’d arrived to pick him up.
The listened to my requests & fluffed him up so preciously! Not to mention that his white fur coat was as white as I’d ever seen it — practically glowing :-)
It was a bit more expensive than other places we’ve previously been & they asked about adding a tip, before I had the opportunity to write one in & sign my receipt, a little tacky. All –in-​all, I’ll be taking Max back for sure!

The times I’ve taken my Shitzu, Ming, to get groomed here he always looked wonderful! It might be slightly more expensive than Pet smart grooming but you definitely get your moneys worth. Plus, they’ve got a great little boutique inside if youre ever looking for that something extra special or even a gift for an animal lover.
