Sara Donuts

Everything they have is great but I can’t recommend enough that you get the sour cream donut. Doesn’t matter if it’s chocolate or plain, you won’t be disappointed!

We have eaten here about 5 times and this place is hands down the BEST donut place I have ever been to. We have tried many of their donuts and they are always pillowy soft with a velvet texture. The cinnamon twist donuts are my favorite! They are not too sweet while having an incredible texture. Its amazing how they aren’t greasy either. You do have to be careful though because they are so good you will have eaten 4 before you know it :)

I decided to stop by this morning to try something new. I’m glad I did! I got the red velvet and the blueberry cake donuts. They were so fresh and moist and absolutely delicious! I can honestly say that I’ve never eaten donuts so delicious and fresh!

How can you not give this place five stars? Donuts to make your mouth water and sausage rolls that are out of this world. Price is right for the quality of food, and staff is friendly. Don’t have any complaints about this place.

I had this place long long time ago when they first opened, I loved the sausage donut (unique) but I don’t remember the other donuts standing out… I must have been crazy. Cause it’s RIDIC good, better than Krispy Kreme. (Less sweet)
Going to school in Boston where only Dunkin donut is there major donut place… coming back home and getting Sara’s donut is like heaven.
I just got back home with five donuts for $ 6.82 (something around there)

Idk if it’s the unusual-​ness shape of a Choco glazed twist, but I destroyed this one first. I inhaled two and other three I am eyeing right now and hating myself a little bit.
My favorite thing about their donuts is that it’s MEGA soft. And you can definitely tell it’s fresh.
Lady at the counter (not the owner) was really nice.
In case anyone is reading today, they are closed tomorrow (Christmas eve).
This place is a must for anyone in Suwanee.

Donuts are soo good! They just melt in your mouth they’re sweet, light, fluffy, and delicious. They taste better than Krispy Kreme, and they have many varieties. A little pricier, but it’s great to support small, local business owners.

Sara’s Donuts just delivered 4 boxes of donuts to our office as a surprise. I was lucky enough to be the girl who ran into the kind man who hand delivered 4 boxes of these absolutely delicious donuts! I just wanted to say that our office is already BIG FANS of Sara’s donuts and this lovely surprise just solidified that! The donuts are absolutely heavenly and the fact that they reached out to our office on a gloomy and rainy afternoon really brought cheer and a smile to the entire office! THANK YOU SARA’S from everyone at Safeco and Liberty Mutual!

My initial rating has not changed, I have just come to realize that this is «the» donut shop that has everything I love in a donut. These donuts are light, simple and delicious. They come in a variety of options, such as a sunflower design, cinnamon rolls, holes, and twists. I purchased a nice variety and everything was exceptional. For me, the plain glazed donut will always be the OG of donuts and NEVER dissapoints.
What sets these donuts apart from the others I have sampled, is taste. The donut is light and perfectly glazed as it starts to melt in your mouth as soon as it hits your tongue. I appreciate fried foods without a greasy taste and this donut succeeds in providing that experience. Whether the grandparents or the grandchildren are working in the shop, you will get great service in a warm and welcoming environment.
After three visits of consistently great donuts and great service, I declare this place LEGIT!

The doughnuts here are life-​changing. I’ve never actually been here, but a coworker of mine brings them in every so often. There’s something magical about the way that white box transforms the mood in the office. Petty squabbles are put on hold. Stress levels plummet. It’s as though the taste of the doughnuts is so overwhelming that our brains simply can’t process anything but the delightful pleasure that it brings.

Most amazing donuts in the world! Boss brought them to the office and I’ve been hooked on them ever since! This is gonna put Krispy Kreme out of business!

The best donuts! Definitely try the apple fritters they are just perfect. My kids love the different shaped sprinkle donuts the best.

How fast can I make a donut disappear? Well if they’re from Sara’s, maybe 10 seconds! I came to Sara Donuts a few minutes before they were closing on a Saturday and I was the only customer. After looking and reading reviews, I settled on the red velvet donut and the chocolate frosted donut cake (a smaller, but cakey texture). Both of them are absolutely fantastic. I especially loved the chocolate frosted cake donut, because it had this crispy bottom layer that almost crunched when you bit into it. MMMM.
Because she was feeling generous, or just was fond of my smile, she decided to give me a couple more donuts on the house, namely the original glazed donut and the chocolate glazed donut. The glazed didn’t make it to the car, and the chocolate frosted didn’t make it to the first red light… oh my goodness.
Super great donut shop with strong flavors, excellent customer service, and sadly no all day store hours, but they do open at 5:30am on Saturdays.
Prices aren’t ridiculous, as I got 3 donuts for just over 3 bucks, and while the store is small, there’s room for sitting inside.
Give the chocolate frosted cake donut a try!

I hate the fact they’re THAT good! It should be against the law and added to the Ten Commandments:
«Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s donuts from Sara’s.»

Good donuts and friendly staff. It’s not in the best location and often overlooked. I think their Medlock Bridge location better. But when in this area, these are my donuts of choice.

Why is a donut shop/​bakery closed on a Sunday? Good donuts though. Terrible hours. Sunday is the only day of the week I really want to go though so really strange to me they close on a weekend day when most people go out to breakfast.

An overall good donut place. They have a really confusing price structure like some of the other area donut shops. What ever happened to all donuts costing the same price? I just wish that they offered more variety. You won’t find the traditional boston cream or chocolate topped vanilla cream donuts. Actually, you won’t find any vanilla cream donuts here :-(

My coworkers and I get Sara Donuts every other weekend when it’s our weekend to work. I have never had a bad donut here. The service is so wonderful. Being greeted with a smile and a «How are you?» will never go out of style.
My favorite donuts are the cinnamon-​sugar twists. You will do yourself a favor and get this the next time you go. And whenever I’ve asked for regular glazed or chocolate glazed they always go back and grab the fresher donuts. All in all, this place is great! You won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure!

On my way to work one day I decided to stop and get donuts for everyone. A quick google search later I found this place pretty close to my commute route. I went there without any additional information. Pulling up I had little faith. It looks like very little money was spent in creating this store. Pretty bland on the outside and even blander on the inside. The key is to power past it and look at the donuts. It will be love at first sight.
An asian couple runs the place, and I don’t know what secrets they know that the big chains don’t, but these are probably the best donuts in donuts in Gwinnett County, maybe Metro Atlanta. Buzz off DD and KK. People are over alliteration. That mess doesn’t work anymore.
I never know what to get. I just tell the lady to fill a box. Must gets though are the red velvet (I recommend the glazed ones) and the cinnamon sticks… they’re the best.
Also worth mentioning are the sausage rolls. They are like large pigs in a blanket. And if you ask nicely the lady will microwave it for you so it is good and hot.
Unfortunately, since the initial «mistake» of bringing this to my co-​workers, I have to bring them every few weeks to quell a full-​scale riot. See you in a few weeks!

Hello, my name is Jamie, and I am afflicted with a lifelong addiction to doughnuts.
So, I’m driving down Satellite Boulevard and see Sara Doughnuts, and without much hesitation I whip the car into a parking spot in front of the store. The building and interior is nice and clean, but there’s nothing very glitzy or impressive to speak of are my first thoughts.
Donut shop rule 1– never let store appearance deter you away from trying a shop’s doughnuts.
Following rule 1, I begin to focus on the doughnuts behind the glass, and my inner kid begins to rev up. I ordered up three for my splurge; red velvet, fritter, and a standard glazed. These doughnuts are good!
If you like doughnuts (and we all know that you do), try this place out ASAP!
