Not impressed at all. Everything was just okay. Only got one menu with three people at the table. And the food was just ehhh

We have been coming here for several years. The salsa and chips are the best around. The food varies sometimes in quality, but not enough to keep us from coming back. The prices are good. We recently went on a Saturday night, however, and they had live music that was terrible. We won’t be back on a Saturday again. The music was mostly Soul or Motown, very very loud and off key. Made for an unpleasant dining experience. I would have preferred Mexican music since that’s the type of venue we were in. It was the same guy that performs at Ippolittos on Thursdays. I don’t like him there either. The music should match the venue.

The Chile Relleno is made with a WHOLE poblano pepper, not just a small piece hidden by the other ingredients. It is not the fried variety. Other restaurants, even other Monterrey restaurants in the area, only give you a small postage stamp size piece of polblano. To me this is very telling as to the quality, quantity and value they want to provide customers. We have been eating here for many years and it is always a convenient place for good Americanized Mexican food. The salsa is always great and the staff are always attentive.

I used to go to this Monterrey restaurant for lunch decades ago. Then, I started working nearby a few years ago. The food, service, and prices are still great. All total, I’ve probably eaten there somewhere between 50 and 75 times. The one thing I don’t like now is the music. They play something kin to disco but more modern with a thumping percussion with chanting vocals that is totally inappropriate for dining. Yesterday, I went there for lunch, and they started playing hip hop. Each to his own, but I cannot stand that rap crap, and it totally ruined my meal. There are a lot of people who detest rap. I hope the management reads this, because I will eat there at least once more, but if they ever play rap again while I’m eating, it will be my last time there. And, that will be a shame, because I will miss the place. I’m pretty sure that it will run others away as well. Play something not too far in one direction, or play Mexican music, or don’t play anything at all.

The best Mexican food in Suwanee. Friendly service. Great chunky guacamole. The best salsa and chips with no garlic aftertaste you get from other Mexican restaurants. Tuesday’s they have great music.

I ordered a carry out order from them during my lunch hour. Food was ok, but the service was horrible. The lady at the front said handling carry out orders were not her job and that she was«too busy» for me. Not going back anytime soon, that’s for sure.

Not only is this restaurant close to my place, it has some really friendly staff, the food is delicious, and best of all, it’s affordable.

Our go to restaurant in Suwanee for over 15 years. Food is very consistent, service is always good. Try the talapia salad for something healthy. Of course the chunky guacamole and margaritas are very good when you want to be bad. We are big fans of Paco, Adrian, and the whole gang at Monterrey.

One of mine and my wife’s favorite date night locations. Great environment, friendly people, quick service, reasonable prices, amazing margaritas. Can’t get enough.

I really didn’t like the burrito! Every time I think about it, I gag. The people are nice. The burrito has the worst sauce on it. Ahhh! My stomach is starting to hurt.

Asked for queso and they never brought it out and still charged us for it on the bill. Live music and authentic tasting tacos and burritos. I would go back because of live music and atmosphere, just need better management of ordering and food detail.

The health scores here have been really bad several times so I’m always cautious when I come here. This time they have a 91 so I am giving it another shot! The food is your typical Mexican.

This is one of my family’s favorite AmeriMex restaurants! It’s right next to our house so we’re in there often and the staff has taken the time to get to know us as ‘regulars’. They have live entertainment throughout the week and the lighting and atmosphere are perfect for chips n dip, and fajitas! The portions are huge and yummy. Only thing I can say that’s not good is that the bar is small and is visibly used as storage. It doesn’t bother me at all, but it might bother some.

For Americanized Mexican food at lunch, this is my spot. I almost always get the nachos and they are completely covered in queso. They have some great $ 5.50 lunch specials too. Next time I will probably get the lunch fajitas which are a little cheaper than my nachos but look a lot healthier. The staff is great at getting you in and out in 40 minutes flat, keeping drinks topped off, and the chip bowl full.

Awful! Service is terrible and food is worse. Salsa is straight out of a jar from Publix next door. Used to be good food and service. Never going back

This Mexican restaurant is decent. It is average tasting food, but very easy on the wallet. The margaritas are good, not amazing. The live music on Saturday nights is awesome, perfect volume as well. The service is kind of lackluster, but ya can’t beat the prices and their wide menu variety. Overall, not bad.

Ah Mexican… my favorite food. This place was a staple for hubby and I. We would go almost every day for lunch. Service was ok not great. Half of them don’t even speak to you the entire time you are there. Worst meal was when my chimichanga came out and it was ICE cold int the middle, like frozen almost. Chimichangas are deep fried so why was it near frozen? Went again and the meal had an odd taste to it, then that night and all next day hubby and I were throwing up nonstop. Will not go again ever.

Agreed, the chicken soup is freaking fabulous. It’s exactly the thing for a cold day. The food here generally is good and very reliable. It’s our go-to Mexican place.
