I realize that I’ve been to several different libraries during the past few months, but honestly, they’re way better than places like Barnes & Noble where you can hardly ever find a seat anyway. Plus, you don’t have to feel«guilty» if you don’t buy anything from the bookstore. This particular library is actually the fourth Gwinnett County Public Library(GCPL) that I have visited! A friend of mine told me that this library was nice, so we checked it out after lunch one Sunday. The Suwanee branch is located right by the city’s Town Center Park. It’s not too small, but not too large, either — and they have a pretty good selection of books and audio books. They also have plenty computers and tables to study at, which is nice. I had no problem grabbing a computer for myself when I wanted to look up some books on the website. Like most libraries I have visited, this one also has a «quiet room» for studying. However, I found it ironic that it’s located towards the back of the library — and super close to a railroad! So the entire library is often filled with the loud sounds of trains passing by! It’s awfully strange that they decided to open a library in a not-so-quiet area. Overall, the Suwanee branch of the GCPL system deserves 4 stars because it is clean, has a good selection of educational material, and looks pretty new! I subtracted one star mainly due to it’s peculiar location. It’s a nice library to check out if you’re ever in the area! [Review 063 of 366]
