I guess the most notable things about Caffe Bene: It’s expensive. The average price for drinks there must average around $ 6 ~ $ 7; then again, if you try the Mohito Drinks, you might understand why. I’d say it’s pretty worth it considering the amount and quality of the fruits they put into their fruity drinks. I also believe they changed their coffee distributor to someone known for being extremely good with their coffee; thus, if you haven’t been here in a while and try their coffee again, you will notice the difference in quality. The atmosphere is great. Not only do people study, but there are long tables for groups and just a casual time with friends, or even by yourself. Service is pretty good. The workers there treat you with respect and politely ask you for what you want and what you need. The bingsu is ehh. If you come here, I would order anything off the menu based on preference… but I would steer away from the bingsu. It’s not that it’s really bad, but if you have had other bingsu places nearby in the Duluth area, you might find that it is not up to par. Overall, good place for both a quick meet or visit.

I had the strawberry waffle and was REALLY good. The waffle was crispy and the strawberries were fresh.

This place is SO cute, I’m surprised I did not find out about this place sooner. My friend and I came here on a whim after dinner when she wanted some coffee. Both our coffees were tasty and fairly priced. She ordered a hot coffee and was a little disappointed when she received it in a to-go cup instead of a mug because she wanted to get a drink with a design in the foam. She decided to take the lid off and check underneath anyway, and was very pleasantly surprised to find a heart waiting for her. The café is nicely decorated and the seats are comfortable — but there are no super comfy couches that invite you to stay for hours and hours. I have yet to try their desserts, but I will be back. The only reason why I didn’t order more was because they do not take American Express and didn’t want my friend to pay so much for me.

Visited: 04/17/2016 Stopped by today to check out this café and it’s honestly overpriced from my perspective. They sell snacks like waffle desserts/snacks, and shaved ice that was over $ 10 for one, which is a bit too much for shaved ice. Their drinks were also over $ 5 each, I’d say about $ 7 was the average price for most drinks. I’ve had very similar snacks/desserts like the ones they offer here but not cost as much. So, overall, as cute as this place was… it’s just too costly for me.

While out on a Saturday morning looking for coffee, Unilocal app in hand, I found I was closest to Caffe Bene, so I stopped on in. Very friendly staff, immediately greeting me and explaining their menu(they even have props to give you an idea of what you’re ordering). I ordered the Medium Mocha Frappé and the Caramel cinnamon honey bread. I intended to get both to go, but they told me they couldn’t fit the honey bread in a to go box with the big tower of whipped cream on the bread, so I decided to eat there. Their mocha frappé($ 4.45) was pretty smooth and strong(to me). It was sweet, but not overly so, and I enjoyed it. The Caramel cinnamon honey bread($ 6.95) was huge, and i’d never experienced honey bread before so this was new to me. The bread is kinda dissected into 9 pieces, so you can easily pull off a piece with your fork and share, if you’re a person who does share. Cinnamon is powdered all over and the caramel is drizzled over both the whipped cream, bread and plate. It looked beautiful, and tasted pretty good! I don’t have any place to compare it to, but for what I tried, i’d definitely swing back by. The interior of Caffe Bene is really beautiful, with nice comfortable chairs, a wooden décor all around, even a few instruments like a piano and guitar(not sure if they’re just props or if they’re played). On a Saturday morning, there were very few people there, so I suppose if you wanted to study or have a more quiet meal, anytime before noon on a weekend may be great for you. Parking isn’t an issue, located in the Suwanee Depot area and to the left of the Big Office Depot Nice little place that i’m happy to have stopped in on. Check them out if you’re in the area.

I have enjoyed thenCaffe Bene in New York and Los Angeles and find this spot just as good, but not as busy :) This is a pretty cool spot to meet a friend or work from while enjoying coffee, a snack or ice cream and waffles. I have come here serval times and always find the place inspiring to work from with comfortable music and different seating areas. The staff is always super friendly and the Internet is blazing fast. Quality of the coffee and espresso is stellar and the sandwiches and snowflake deserts are very tasty. The smoothies I have yet to try, but heard many people rave over how good they taste. I do think many of the items are a little over priced, but nothing outrageous. This Korean franchise is a little more mainstream than the Mozart or Windmill, but offers a good product and worth checking out if you have not yet.

It’s a great place to go on an evening date and have a tiramisu waffle. Their drinks are indescribably awesome. But customer service needs to be a little more talkative and cooler though. Overall it’s one of the top franchise café out there.

All I ordered here was a peppermint mocha hot chocolate. It was fine. Cute spot. Can’t help but liken it to Starbucks. My problem was more with the service. The cashier kept having problems with the register. It appeared to be new system they were using and he just didn’t know how to work it. He had to keep waiting on someone to come help him with each transaction. I seriously waited in line at least 20 minutes just to order a small drink. The people behind me waited at least 30 minutes. Not sure if this was just an off day or what, but it was annoying.

The gelato is okay. But it tastes as if it’s store bought and has a very icy texture. Unless thats their recipe… I also tried their waffles. I would not recommend that at all. Its was so hard. Felt as if I was eating a rock that had a custard tasting fried cheese in the center.(You’ll know what i mean if you’ve tried it.) The flavored lattes taste like cake mix and steamed milk but its probably the best thing there.

Way too over priced for the quality of their product. $ 2.75 for a medium black coffee… when you can go to QT and get better coffee for a third of the price. $ 6 for a small waffle with whipped cream and strawberries. Just crazy. The waffle was undercooked and wasn’t great. Coffee was less than par too. Honestly I’d rather go to the less expensive Starbucks than go here. Service and the inside of this place is nice. Unfortunately nothing else is worth the price. Also, the furniture is too small and uncomfortable.

Great little place to chill! Very cozy. The environment is pretty incredible for a coffee and cake joint. Plenty of room for large groups. The customer service was great as well. The rustic wood work and design around the place will have you in awe for minute. I do recommend swinging by to visit. This could very well become your favorite little coffee joint!

This place is really close to my house. It is fairly new and has not been open that long. I know this place is pretty popular in Korea and in LA. The interior is pretty cute. Typical Korean coffee shop. I decided to try this place once it died down. It hasn’t died down yet. Especially if you go on the weekend, it’s packed and loud. I tried studying here and it was loud. It is pretty pricey for drinks. I got the Green Tea latte. It was not good at all. It was very thick and chalky after taste. They put too much green tea powder in my drink. It was hard to swallow… I got a small and it was around $ 4.65 or something along that. They do have free wifi and a couple of outlets along the long seating. The individual tables do not have outlets. Good luck trying to find seats to study at. Finding parking is easy. There are a lot of parking spots available.

I was ecstatic when I heard Caffe Benne was coming to the States! Décor inside is pretty much on par with what you find in Korea. Exterior however is that of a regular strip-mall, definitely not as pretty as the CB’s built overseas, even though it doesn’t really matter. Anyway, onto the food. I was so disappointed when I looked at the menu! So, so, very limited compared to Korea! Really wanted Cheesecake bingsu again, but they didn’t have it here. Unfortunate. But what I ordered(Caramel and Cinnamon Honey Bread, Strawberry Bingsu) was pretty similar in taste to the Korean CB’s, which I guess is the important thing. I hope they do well here, they certainly have a lot of competition with Paris Baguette and Café Mangosix already brought over here also.

I had the strawberry and whipped cream waffle and a vanilla latte. My husband had the bacon banana waffle and a café mocha. We both loved the waffles! They are not traditional waffles and are actually green. They are chewy but sweet. The only recommendation I’d make is that they should provide real silverware because the plastic stuff isn’t quite stronger enough for the waffles. The décor is nice. Inviting but not your typical loungey coffee shop style. More rustic. Bonus, the worker gave my daughter some stickers! Overall, I will definitely be back. I’m so thankful to have a coffee shop nearby and I’m glad we had a good experience here. The other close option has terrible customer service. So I will be supporting Caffee Bene.

There’s been a huge rise of new asian dessert places, this being one. Caffe Bene is a chain based in Korea, that is typically found up north towards NY and on the west coast. My first impression of this place was good. I tried their chocolate raspberry waffle sundae and mango peach smoothy and it was delicious! Interior is pretty nice as well. Only drawback may be the location, which is pretty far for me, being that it is in Swanee.

This place reminds me of an upscale Mozart. I love the décor inside, but none of their drinks have really impressed me. This place is also a bit pricey! I was so excited to try their mango mojito drink. Seriously, disappointed. No mint leaves in my drink. It was just mango and raspberry fruits mixed with Sprite. This place would be an amazing place to study if it wasn’t so LOUD!!! Lots of chatter and cries from babies. I felt like I was in Korea since majority of the people at this café were Korean. Might give them another try or at their Duluth location when they open.

Not gonna lie… I was extremely disappointed here. I’ve been to Café Bene in Korea and actually really enjoyed my experiences there so I became super excited when I heard it was coming to Georgia. Location is actually a good area since there aren’t many Korean cafes in this large Korean community. The place is small but the decoration and layout is cute. Not enough space to walk around tables, you can basically hear the convo of the table next to yours. Food wise… Everything I had was a disappoint. Only thing that was«okay» was the Mango or even strawberry Bingsoo.

I have been here twice before, and the first time I did not order anything because I have never ever really liked korean places like this. My experiences there have all been very mediocre. This place is not an exception. Their bingsoos are good, but their drinks are overpriced and terrible. I do not think they understand what a frappé is. Last time, my sister ordered the green tea frappé which was overly sweet and very chunky. Today, I ordered a small coffee frappé. When I received it I was initially confused. About half the drink was pretty chunky and the bottom half was all liquid. I shook it up a bit and stirred it but within moments it returned back to its half chunk half plain liquid state. I don’t understand why. It doesn’t taste very good, either. So I just set it aside and let it sit while I do my homework. I look back twenty minutes later and I can practically see the ice chunks floating around the top, and the rest of the cup is liquid. If you see my cup without knowing what I ordered, you would think I just bought an iced coffee. I understand that a frappé melts, but it does not melt and become liquid. It melts into a liquidy form of a frappé with a solid base, still but this one did not. Very dissapointing. I don’t know if its the employees that don’t know how to make drinks, or if its just the company in general that doesn’t know. Maybe its just the crappy ingredients they use. Not worth time or money. The only reason I would give this place two stars instead of one is because of their bingsoo.

Caffebene is a popular franchise coffeehouse based in Seoul, South Korea. They have a cute, wooden interior design and offer a variety of waffles, ice parfaits, sandwiches, coffee/lattes, etc. Their desserts are aesthetically pleasing to your eyes making you salivate while you attempt to make your selection. They offer free WiFi(passcode: mocha123) which is nice if you want to sit down with your laptop to browse the Web, check emails, or get some work done. However, this place gets a little noisy which can make it a little difficult to focus if you aren’t good at zoning out the noise. I enjoyed the décor and the ambiance. However, I will be honest and say my tastebuds were quite disappointed. I ordered the waffle — strawberrynana. Nothing in particular really makes this waffle amazing or worth ordering again. In fact, the waffle is really dense and starchy. I prefer my waffles to be fluffy with a crisp to add a nice texture. I also ordered the green tea ice parfait. This is really what the name suggests. I don’t know why I was expecting it to be more like bingsu. Perhaps because it comes with a layer of sweet red beans and a scoop of green tea ice cream. The ice parfait comes in a tall bowl/cup with 80% of it filled with shaved ice with a slight flavor of green tea. They layer the shaved ice with a little bit of sweet red beans followed by a scoop of green tea ice cream. You will also find a few pieces of walnuts(warning for ppl with nut allergies!!). The best part is that you can actually take your time eating it because the ice doesn’t melt very fast since it’s not milky. I found this to be refreshing but lacking in flavor. Despite the disappointment, I plan on swinging by to try some of their other items.(Every place deserves a second chance… maybe not all… haha) Until next time. to be continued.

Went to check out this place today since it just opened. I was slightly overwhelmed by the whole experience — in a good way. The desserts looked good. The parfait bowls are definitely meant to be split($ 10 a pop reinforces that). They looked good though. The waffle dessert combinations looked intriguing to say the least — there were a lot of things on display. But they had something on the menu that seemed to imply a waffle salad combo — that doesn’t seem good. They offer all your standard coffee, latte, cappuccino stuff as well as fruit smoothies(I heard it got a good review). I had the white grape refresher — tasted just like frozen green grapes turned into a slushie. Quite refreshing for $ 5.25. Heard the gelato was a little on the sweet side. Iced coffee was stronger than expected. Yes I will be back — and will have something different. It’s a great place to meet a friend or get some work done. They have a lot of tables and comfy chairs. Hello upscale coffee house in Suwanee with parking!
