Bluefern Spa & Salon

This spa is spacious and the ambiance is wonderful for a day spa. They have a full hair salon on the side of the main spa which makes it full service. The therapists are extremely professional and they will customize treatments based on your specific needs. The pricing for services is moderate to moderately high. You may ask why I don’t give a 4 or 5 star review. Well, the scheduling process was problematic. I specifically asked for a massage with Alina. I was told that she was busy, so I would have to come in at 9am if I wanted her as a therapist. While this early time was very inconvenient for me, I agreed to the early time in order to have Alina as my therapist. I come at 8:45am as requested and the receptionist tells me that another person will be coming to get me. I said «There is a mistake. Alina is supposed to be my therapist» and the girl just looked at me like a deer in headlights and said that this specific request was not in their system. This surprised me, considering the receptionist on the initial call made a point to book me in the early time slot for Alina. I was already there and my husband was watching my daughter, so rescheduling was out of the question. I agreed to go ahead with the other therapist. She was pretty good, but it was a little awkward since she greeted me with «I’m sorry that you didn’t get the therapist that you wanted.» It wasn’t her fault. I was a bit surprised that the front desk didn’t offer me a discount or a future offer for another massage with Alina. It was basically handled as «oh well… the person who booked you didn’t put it into the system… sorry.» At a spa like this, I would expect a little forethought on the part of the front desk on how to recover from mistakes by offering the clients something… a discount… a free product… a discount for a future visit.something. I would recommend double confirming your therapist choice with the front desk before your appt.

Had an amazing deep tissue massage from Lydia. It was very relaxing and the perfect amount of pressure. I definitely got my money’s worth here and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend going here!

This place is wonderful. I had an amazing massage with Melanie. She listened to what I needed and then spent the entire 60 minutes massaging me. She was great and the place was lovely!

Beautiful salon. Make sure you book your hair appointment with Katherine, Kat has been cutting and coloring my hair for years and does an amazing job no matter what I ask of her. She also cuts my thirteen year old daughters hair on a regular basis and we get stopped constantly by people asking who cuts her hair. Extremely current with the latest styles and techniques but not at all snooty, she even cuts my toddler’s hair. Can’t say enough good things!

Great spa! I go here for massage every few months. The staff are fantastic! I normally get the 60min massage and pedicure package. Included in the package is light refreshments they bring to you while your getting the pedicure. Great spa!

Great atmosphere here! I haven’t used the spa services yet, but the salon is great! Debra Martin is excellent! Highly recommend!

Very pretty place. I would rate it as «average» overall for a couple of reasons:
1. When I get a facial, I expect the technician to stay busy working on me the entire time. When the mask or cream needs to sit on my face for a few minutes, don’t just sit there — massage my neck or hands. I feel if I am paying $ 1 per minute, you do not need to sit there and look at cream on my face.
2. If I book a 90 minute massage + 20 minute add on free service, I should be on the table for 2 hours. There should not be 5 – 10 minutes lost doing (extensive) paperwork and then another 5 – 10 minutes talking to the therapist and waiting for them to come back to the room after I disrobe. It does not take people that long to get their clothes off and get on the table.
Many positives though — friendly staff and competent technicians. Prices are reasonable, I just feel more attention should be paid to making sure customers get their full money’s worth from each visit.

This place is gorgeous! As soon as I walked into the door, I could see that Bluefern was a full service spa. I received a signature facial from Danielle, and I could not have been more happy with the outcome. I was relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards, and was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff. Danielle was wonderful by letting me relax, as well as talk about product descriptions they use. I would highly recommend Bluefern Spa to any of my friends or family, and will definitely be a returning customer. I also received a tour before I left of the new «Salt Room», and will be trying that out next! Thank you Bluefern for a true «getaway» spa experience.

I love this place! The salon and spa is warm and inviting. The staff is always so friendly. I love, love all the facial products recommended so far and my skin feels and looks wonderful. I also have had my eyebrows waxed and tinted. Danielle did a wonderful job and I will not let anyone else touch them from now on! I am looking forward to trying other treatments and salon services in the future!

I have a long history with back pain. I have to get a massage every few weeks, not really for pleasure but so I can do normal things like shrug and check my blindside while driving. Otherwise, I’d be in trouble.
Anyways. Got a 90 minute massage here. I’m giving it a ³⁄₅ b/​c I was still in pain after the massage. That’s kinda rare. I get massaged often so I can tell you that typically I am pain free for at least 5 days after one. The fact that I still felt twinges of pain after… eh doesn’t really bode well.
Can’t really say I’ll be back. Massage was 110 bucks. I mean I knew that going in bu I wanted to see if paying a higher price would result in better outcome. I know a cheaper place that can get rid of my pain for half that. It doesn’t look as good and it certainly isn’t as quiet but they get the job done.
If you are looking for that spa like ambiance though, come here. I was very relaxed afterwards. It’s beautiful. There’s a salon place here as well. Everyone was really friendly.

Wow, what an amazing place! I was taken such good care of! Everyone was aware I was there. I went for a spa day and they didn’t leave me to sit somewhere for a long period of time. They listened to what I wanted or needed. The massage was amazing. I think her name was Alaina. She took care of me and even gave me some tips on daily stretches that were simple and didn’t take more than 1 minute.
The luxury pedicure was so relaxing.
Thank you Bluefern Spa for making my first spa experience amazing. It was a great birthday experience and I will definitely be going back!!!

This place is AWESOME!!! My wife booked this for us as a couples massage and it was great. The massage therapist listens and delivers. Great packaged deal and well maintained. After our massages, they gave us champagne and chocolate cake with strawberries…“Enhanced Romance” package… b/​c my wife is awesome and a sweetheart… you get your monies worth… pay for a cheap massage somewhere else… you get «helga» walking on your back… go with the best… and this place has the best. You also get a free gift after your first visit!
