Dr. John is a knowledgable and great eye doctor! I have seen him for many years and have recommended friends and family to him. I would give him 5 stars!
Unfortunately the same can not be said about his staff. They are extremely rude and know nothing about customer service. Every time I try to re-​order and fill my contact prescription (which should be quick and simple) it is always a battle and struggle. I am a repeat patient who should be treated and valued as such. In particular, his desk lady, Shannon is very unhelpful and always makes me feel like I am a bother when I call asking for help, information, or simply refilling my contacts. Ask to speak to anyone else should she answer.

We’ve been going here for 10 years. There are no problems processing our insurance and I feel that my eye exam is very thorough. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and I found a great new pair of frames within my budget. I was very pleased with my latest visit.

My spouse went in to pick up an expensive pair of glasses and he waited 1 hour… to pick them up! Then when they finally got to him the glasses were bent. The dr offered to fix them but he needs them returned or refunded; too much $ to be damaged.

Dr. John Gallagher at Advanced Family Eyecare in Suwanee is an excellent eye doctor for the entire family! He has been our eye doctor for the past 6 years. He is attentive and thorough. He sees our entire family and is understand and accommodating to our specific eye care needs. I highly recommend Dr. Gallagher!

My family has been going to Advanced Family Eyecare for 2 years now and we are very pleased with the doctors here. We’ve seen both Dr. John and Dr. Jaime and both are very professional and friendly. I had some issues with bumps under my eyelid and Dr. John figured out what was causing these and we made a plan and they’ve been gone for a year now. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable as well. You will be greeted as soon as you walk in the door!

I love having Dr. Gallagher as my optometrist. He is very observant about any changes with my optical health. His staff is very welcoming and provides exceptional customer service. They are diligent about keeping me updated on my remaining insurance benefits to ensure that I don’t leave any unused benefits at the end of the year. I wouldn’t use any other optometry service.
