Disappointed after reading the reviews. Charged for a second cup of hot tea. We should have been told. They charged for English muffins. We should have been told. Coffee was sub par. Bacon burnt. I asked for my hash browns crispy. They were burnt. Place not as clean as I would have liked. There was some kind of smell. Won’t hurry back. Staff not very friendly.

We walked in and weren’t greeted at all but we sat down and found ourselves a booth. A minute or so later we were given menus. Our server was sweet but she must be mentally challenged because she asked for our orders three separate times and still got things wrong. The food was good. The hash was yummy but not really any more homemade than a boxed cake mix. When we got the check it was so messy you could barely make out the amount. We also received incorrect change from our check. We just chocked it up to a tip and left. I don’t think I’ll be coming back with the multiple good breakfast places around.

great little homey diner, food was delicious, service was warm and friendly. It’s a small diner located in a tiny plaza, probably about 6 booths and 12 seats at the bar, the wait wasnt very long and they brought us coffee while we waited. Very much a locals place, but very inviting. If you’re like us, and randomly passing through central mass and need a place to grab breakfast cant do much better

Local little diner that serves breakfast & lunch. Everything I look for in a local joint; super friendly people, Dave was awesome on the griddle, large portions, low prices, they didn’t blink at my special requests(cheese on my home fries & extra kraut on my Reuben). Coffee was tasty. Food was exceptional, especially my fresh grilled Reuben. Doesn’t get any better.

A good basic diner. Generous portions. Eggs over easy perfection. Homemade Corn beef hash was very good but not life changing. I’d go here again if in the neighborhood.

The place is homey, the food always consistently good, and the staff always super friendly. Any breakfast establishment that takes the time to serve homemade corned beef hash is good for me — and it’s delicious.

Even though we came in a half hour before they closed, they were super nice. The food was good, the best part was the home fries. We went in around 1:30 and were out right at 2:00, service was fast, and the prices are awesome. Split evenly three ways, the whole meal was 8 bucks(not including tip). I don’t know what her name was, but the woman who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant(who also happened to be our waitress) made the restaurant the small town diner experience we were looking for.

My boyfriend and I went there last weekend. The staff past us SEVERAL times, not saying a word to us. We waited for about 10 minutes without being greeted so we left.

I took my kids here for a lunch after bell ringing for the Salvation Army. It was our first time and we were excited to try the place after reading so may good reviews. We were not disappointed. It was great. I felt like breakfast for lunch and had the Eastern Omelette with Jack cheese(instead of american), and the hash browns. The omelette was large and perfectly prepared. The hash browns were some of the best I ever had. The serving was large and I walked away stuffed. My older daughter had egg and jack cheese on a bagel, along with hash browns. She was very happy with her food also. My little one had the tuna salad sandwich and home fries. She loved the home fries so much, she only had room for half of her sandwich. She loved the tuna though, and we brought it home. Schultzy’s has a friendly and homey feel to it. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived. We will definitely be back.

Great food and great service! We had the eggs benedict with hash browns. Perfectly cooked eggs, nice thick ham and just the right crispiness on the English muffin. Generous, flavorful Hollandaise sauce topped it off. Yum! The boys got the Sutton Suzie, basically one of everything. Got it with pancake, the other with French toast. They commented how the French toast tasted kind of like Cinnabon! I have to agree! Very, very tasty! And to top it off, the owner came to the table at the end and gave the boys complementary ice pops! So cool! We will definitely be back!

We decided to try breakfast here before heading to the Grafton Flea Market, and we’re glad we did. Based on the recommendations of some other reviewers here, we decided to try the corned beef hash. They make the corned beef fresh, and boy does it make a difference. Most other places are extremely salty, but this was a very nice flavor with nothing overpowering. Having the corned beef made fresh makes such a difference as opposed to the canned stuff other places must use. The only slight complaint was that the wait staff didn’t really acknowledge us when we walked in. Mind you they weren’t rude, just not very welcoming. But after a short wait we got two chairs at the counter and one of the cooks(I believe he was the owner) struck up a conversation with us and was very friendly and conversational. Overall, this was a pretty good place and worth the stop if you’re passing by.

Great local breakfast & lunch spot. Friendly service and great food. Pancakes were a huge hit with the kids and the omelets were loaded. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food. We had to wait a little bit for a seat as the restaurant isn’t very big and appears to be a popular spot, but the food was well worth the wait. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. My husband got a steak which he was very pleased with as well. The staff is friendly and pleasant also. We would definitely return.

What a great little breakfast spot! Stopped in for the first time today. Delicious eggs Benny with tomato & spinach. The hollandaise tasted like it was from scratch with just a hint of lemon. Great crispy hash browns too. My husband had the Jas and eggs and was very pleased. Hash is homemade and not too greasy, great flavor. The service was very good. We were greeted upon arrival & taken care of as if we were regulars. The cherry on top was our entire tab was $ 15! We will absolutely be going back. I’d recommend anyone stop in and try it!

Just had a yummy hot dog & home fries lunch with my husband at Schultzys — first visit. They have a number of different hot dogs to choose from. I had the Kansas City which is sauerkraut & Swiss cheese; Den had another selection & enjoyed his. In addition to «all day» breakfast, they offer various sandwiches, homemade soups, a few desserts & specials — Meatloaf was one of the specials today. Staff were very friendly & efficient. I forgot my baseball cap & it was waiting at the cash register when I went back:) Ambiance is your basic diner setting, which works fine for me — appeared to be clean — important. We’ll be back & have some of that acclaimed corned beef hash.

My boyfriend and I live in Spencer, MA and after hearing of this place opening and its unique name we decided to take the 35 minute drive to the breakfast place. What we encountered was GREAT! We were greeted with large smiles at the door. The place was full. We waited a short few minutes then took one of the booths. Immediately the owner Steve came over introduced himself, asked us «how we’re doing» and«if we had ever been before». Of course we asked about the name and quickly received a warm heartfelt story. We ordered the Morning Special(Onions, Mushrooms, Peppers, Cheese Omelet) and a 3 Cheese Omelet both with home fries and cinnamon raisin toast as well as their special homemade Corn Beef Hash. Food was savory and appetizing. Close to home-cooking. The two of us fought over the plate of homemade Corn Beef. That by far was incredible. Its shredded, seasoned perfect and not too salty. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some local atmosphere and great home style breakfast.
