Have eaten there a few times. The first time everything was great. The second time I ordered French Toast and I swear it was the best i’d ever eaten! The bread was nice and thin not soggy or overly eggy. Went back a month later dragging friends with me. We drive over an hour and ½ to get there. The food was so so. The French Toast was awful thick bread soggy and a ton of egg batter. My friends looked at me with disappointment. The server asked if something was wrong with the french toast and I pushed my fork down on the bread and the uncooked batter squirted up. He said EWW and that was it and took the plate like no big deal and yes it was on the Bill. I wanted to give it one more try last weekend and it’s closed kind of sad I was willing to give it another go but the doors are shut and its empty.

Great, friendly help, great fresh fruit. I ordered the eggs benedict and the eggs were poached perfectly! Will definitely stop in again!

Whenever I have family or friends in town this is where we start our day. Classic breakfast with fresh fruits and good coffee. The service is above and beyond. Becky remembers our favorites, even my children’s. It truly is a hometown restaurant, small in size, when busy you may wait a while(under 15 mins for food) but totally worth it! Lunch is great too. But breakfast is top notch!

Came for lunch on a Saturday. Not too busy and the food was really good. My kids(ages 2&4) shared a chicken salad sandwich with no grief for splitting from the staff. I had the chicken bacon blue cheese quesadilla and it was great. Highly recommend this place!

Tried to stop at Thomi’s for breakfast but they were not open at 8:15AM. Ended up down the street at a coffee shop. Did stop at Thomi’s the next day for lunch. Ordered the Tri-Tip Dip which the menu described as «piled high» with Tri-Tip. It was far from piled high and not sure it was even Tri-Tip. With that said, it tasted pretty good and the Au Jus was tasty.

Would love to have tried this place and leave a review on the food however, since they don’t open at 8 like their websites says, we couldn’t try it. They run their hours so inconsistent, this is the 2nd time we have tried to eat there during the hours their website states they’re open(8 – 3 except Thursdays) and we have yet to see them open. Bad business practices

Stopped in for breakfast on a recent visit to Sutter Creek. The place is a bit run down looking inside, but the food was good and the staff was friendly. I had French toast and it was hot and very tasty.

I had come here before and it was a pleasant experience, so when I was back in Sutter Creek I stopped in intending to make this my lunch spot. That didn’t happen, and it was a disappointing experience this time. Here’s why: Most of there menu is heavy on meat. Last time I had French Toast and they gladly substituted fresh fruit for the eggs and bacon or sausage. I wanted the same this time, only when I was here before I discovered there was a strong flavor of cinnamon in their French Toast and had asked if it was because they used a cinnamon bread or added it to the batter. I was told it is put in the batter. I pointed out that there was nothing in the menu to let a person know of this added ingredient(beyond what would be expected in plain French Toast) and that it would be good to make mention of it on the menu as some(my daughter for one) are allergic to cinnamon. It was August 2013 when I was last here and the menu remains the same, still without any mention that they put cinnamon in their French Toast batter. I wanted to have the same order as before only I didn’t want the cinnamon merely for the reason of taste preference on my part. I asked the waiter if the batter for the French Toast was premixed or made to order. He seemed at first to be unsure what that meant. I explained, and he said it was made to order, so I requested French Toast without cinnamon, and hold the powdered sugar. He came back in a bit and said I couldn’t get the French Toast without the cinnamon as it is already in the batter which is premade. I cancelled the order and left to go find somewhere else to eat.

ok breakfast. The service could be better. The service was split between two people taking orders and bringing food. The guy seemed pretty disinterested and sort of muttered which made it hard to understand. The food is ok. The hash browns were really oily. The joes omelet was tasty.

Recently a group of women Can Am Spyder Roadster owners from the US and Canada stopped for lunch at Thomi’s in Sutter Creek. We called ahead since we were a large group for this quaint restaurant. I was concerned because we were somewhat on a tight schedule, a large group, and this being a small restaurant we would be there for some time. To the contrary, the service was extremely quick. We were out of there in less than an hour. I believe we were a dozen more or less. The food was was beautifully presented and delicious. Most of us had something different. Thomi was on the ball, and she was extremely accomodating, especially writing separate tags at her suggestion. I highly recommend Thomi’s. I certainly will be back.

Love, love, love this place. Been coming here for many years. Thomi’s is a cozy little gem in Sutter Creek. The French toast combo with sausage links is sooo good. Always have a latte with breakfast. So yummy. They have a lovely little patio section if you would like to sit outside. Quailty ingredients equal a great breakfast. Be sure to say hi to Thomi when you visit.

Have had brunch here twice in the last year. Service is friendly and prompt, food is tasty, close to public parking, good at subbing out menu items to make them vegetarian. Has a very retro feel(located in the basement of a building). Portion size is on the large-ish side. My least favorite thing here is the bad coffee. No fresh milk to add to it, just tiny creamer cups.

Stopped here on a Saturday morning the way to Jackson. It was around 10:30am and there was only one other party dining. After we sat, the place began to fill up. I was torn between the bacon cheese burger and the cinnamon roll french toast. Glad I got the french toast, it was amazing. The staff seemed nice and the bathroom was clean. The prices and portions were awesome. I’d definitely come back. NOTE: You seat yourself here, hard to tell because there wasn’t a sign(that I could see). Every time a party came in I could hear the main server letting people know to seat themselves. Also, the set up looks like you order up front but before we made our way up there, the server came to take our order. It’s just me, I notice things like this.

Went here with a group of about 6 people and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The food was all very delicious and the little girls helping out with busing before they could go swimming were super cute. Honestly every dish we had for brunch was wonderful, and the pancakes were some of the best pancakes I’ve EVER tasted. Loved this place!

Stopped here for a quick bite on our way back from Lake Tahoe. Excellent service, big portions and great taste. The black and blue cheese quesadilla was amazing and one of a kind. My friend had the Cobb salad which was also pretty good.

Our family(two adults, one preschooler, and one toddler) had lunch here today on the way home from a trip to Daffodil Hill, which is about 25 minutes west of Sutter Creek. It was delicious, AND the service was superb. With two little ones, we don’t eat out much – it isn’t worth the hassle and stress if one of them has a hard time behaving well. With the long drive, though, I thought we’d do better with a stop to break up the drive home, and Unilocal said this place was«good for kids». Looking at the menu, the adult items looked delicious(and were), but I was concerned because there wasn’t a kids menu or «sides» menu that I could easily order something small for them from. So dad and I based our orders on things we thought they might eat, and hoped for the best. I shouldn’t have worried. Before we’d even placed our order, the waitress brought us a plate with two slices of cantaloupe, for the kiddos. Then she asked if we’d like to order a side of eggs(one scrambled egg – not on the menu but SOHELPFUL), and a kitchen guy brought it out to us in less than 3 minutes. I just felt like they were doing our best to help us have an enjoyable meal. The restaurant isn’t super easy to from the road – it is on the outside corner of Gopher Flat Rd & old Hwy 49(Hanford St), at the north end of the«old town» section. There isn’t a parking lot, but there is plentiful parking all around(gives you an excuse to window shop!). And, as another reviewer said, it is sort of in the basement of a building, so look down. Back to the delicious part – I don’t think I have enjoyed the flavors of a meal while managing kiddos as much as I enjoyed this one… and we had worn out, somewhat difficult kids. It was that good. I had the egg salad & avocado sandwich(the egg salad was magically fluffy… neat texture, the spinach on it was a great addition too) with fries(yum!), and my husband had an Asian chicken salad(I don’t recall the title), which he also really liked. Really, though… they had me at the near-instant cantaloupe slices. So thoughtful and kind.

This place was so nice, we tried it twice! The coffee was exceptional on both occasions. On our second trip, she accommodated my homesick request for a café con leche, and it honestly rivaled my grandmother’s. The breakfast dishes we can vouch for are the french toast(heavenly); the biscuits and gravy, the oatmeal, and the California omelet with avocado, bacon, jack cheese, and salsa. Service was friendly and prompt on both visits. Tips — walking distance from all hotels/b&b’s on Main St. There’s no wifi, but with the great mellow tunes and local papers, I didn’t miss it. It’s not a wifi kind of place.

After wandering through Sutter Creek’s main stretch, we were shocked to see that there wasn’t really anywhere to get breakfast. Upset, we got in our car and prepared to leave town, until we saw Thomi’s at the end of the street. Whew! It is a cute little café with a nice patio area. The menu had some nice options, including a large breakfast burrito and 3 or 4 different eggs benedict choices. I had the burrito, and it was satisfying. Hash browns were well done too. Iced coffee came in massive coke glasses, which was a nice bonus. Service was a little slow and none of the tables were bussed when we walked in, but I was so hungry that I was willing to look past all that. It seems to me there should be more little breakfast spots like these in a town like Sutter Creek. I mean, how many antique shops can you cram into one stretch? There’s some quality wine tasting across the street, but other than that I don’t see much of a reason to visit the area.
