This IS Sutter Creek! The best of Sutter Creek… the only reason to come to Sutter Creek! This place is fabulous! Very different items that one doesn’t see elsewhere, from lamps, purses, clothing, painting, pottery, cards, glassware, jewelry, I can’t name it all. The prices range all over the place. It is a great place to buy a gift for someone. My husband and I will often head to Sutter Creek… about 45 min away if we are looking for something unusual, for a gift for a wedding, birthday etc.

I wish this store had an online store, since I live in San Diego! I wanted to buy everything. Well, at least 3 lamps, 4 vases, 20 Christmas and Hannukah gifts for friends, 3 things for my dogs, and 10 things for my children. If you want a unique item that will light up your house, your heart, or someone else’s heart, definitely check out this shop. Most people don’t believe that I DONOT like shopping — eegghhh.(shop 95% online), but I could spend hours in this store just taking in the eye-candy. They will ship your lovelies home to you if you forget to bring an extra suitcase.

If I had a million dollars… I was in Sutter Creek for less than 48 hours but visited this store at least 3 – 4 times. I have never been in a store where I wanted to purchase so many items. Amazing and original jewelry… check. Beautiful clothing that I have never seen anywhere else… check Wall clocks made of glass that reminded me of the Alice in Wonderland ride at Disneyland… check. Wrought iron bat sculptures to hang… check. Stemware so beautiful that I wouldn’t even dream of using but would display in a heartbeat… check. I think what I loved about this store the most is I was so intimidated to walk in. I had that feeling… you know the one when you get when wanting to venture into a shop but are too intimidated to walk in because the sales staff will look at you as if you should not be in there because their product is so much above you? Kind of like Julia Roberts on Rodeo Drive? Well I tiptoed in here on a Sunday morning waiting for the«Why are you here?» look. I never got that. What I did get was a very friendly individual wanting to know how my day was and chatting me up about the blouse I was pursuing. I keep thinking about the items I looked at and didn’t purchase. Labor Day Weekend 2016 you better watch out Fine Eye. Definitely check this store out.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the single biggest reason to visit Sutter Creek. Sure, you’ve got a picturesque Gold Rush-era main street, plenty of cute little shops, friendly folks and so much more, but when it comes to a single store to draw my interest, this is the one. What makes it so special is its unique selection. Everything under their roof is made small-scale by talented artists and craftsmen, many of whom also live locally. I’ve bought countless gifts here, including knives, coffee scoopers, wallets, dolls, books and cards. A gift from Fine Eye virtually guarantees it’s the only thing out there like it. The prices are a little higher, but well worth every penny if it means finding so many special things under one roof. I only wish Fine Eye were closer to me in Sacramento!

I find it a treat to come here. They have so many decorative items that are wonderful and beautiful, and some that are also useful, like barrettes, purses, clothing, and more. The staff is pleasant and the location is nice as part of Sutter Creek main street. It’s worth a drive to be able to shop at Fine Eye.

Always look forward to what we’ll see at Fine Eye! When we were there in August 2011, we were shopping for family birthday gifts… and found plenty unusual gifts to fit our fairly low budget for birthdays. However, there were so many items that cost a bit more, and a lot more, that caught our eye. So, we returned in February 2012 with our Valentine’s Day emailed coupon, enjoyed our favorite artists/items as well as the new beautiful/whimsical/artful pieces that have been added since our last visit. This time, we ended up buying a few small gifts for ourselves. When we’ve finished with our remodeling work, we look forward to returning yet again to consider other items we can already envision gracing our home. What a lovely shop — a MUST visit when in Sutter Creek!

I really like Fine Eye Gallery. It’s centrally located along Sutter Creek’s main street and has an truly eclectic selection of art and artful items. Wall art, prints, unique greeting cards, jewelry, purses, scarves, kitchen items, home and garden décor… I mean seriously, they have a ridiculous range of items but they’re all unique and artsy and beautiful. Been in Fine Eye many times, mostly to swoon over pretty things I can’t afford like their jewelry and gorgeous copper garden sculptures. I’ve bought some small art prints, cards and an absolutely stunning glass mezuzah. If you sign up for their email mailing list, they will send you coupons… yay!

Love this place and the ever-changing, eclectic collection of fine American arts and crafts, watercolors, prints, photography, jewelry, housewares and clothing. House photographer and aquatintist(?), Laura Faye Mah captures foothills landscapes with a fine eye indeed. Dale Laitinen represents Sierran granite and water in magnificent watercolors. This gallery is a great reason to drive to Sutter Creek several times a year. Gifts for very special people can always be found here.

Fine Eye Gallery in Sutter Creek is the temporary home to many pieces of wearable art, jewelry, clothing, trinkets and so much more. I say temporary because you would be crazy to not want to snatch up everything in this gallery. The pieces range from quirky to exquisite. During this Christmas season, I will be holding my shop local, shop small pledge because there is something for everyone in your family here. Here’s just a quick list of what they have to offer: earrings, bracelets, wine accessories, cake platters, blown glass, recycled bicycle tube purses, wallets, and belts, boho style sweaters and cardigans, cookbooks, scarves, wall art, and furniture. They also have an impressive wall of greeting cards that are not your run of the mill Hallmark kind!

My favorite shop in town! Currently, there is a showing of Cindy Perry’s paintings that I adore! This is a great place to purchase art, and unique gifts.
