Amador Council of Tourism was formed to develop and implement a unified approach to tourism programs to benefit the local economy.

Meet the Manager

Maureen F.

Manager

Maureen Funk began her years in Amador County in 1993, organizing and managing Amador Farmers Market. She managed the markets for six years, while selling Funk Farm produce in the markets and to local restaurants.

As Business Manager for Main Street Theatre Works, Maureen negotiated a contract for dinner theater in partnership with Daffodils Restaurant. Maureen also oversaw the fundraising, construction and opening of Kennedy Mine Amphitheater, built in partnership with Kennedy Mine Foundation.

She worked for Jim Guidi at HomeTown Radio/​KVGC1340AM selling ads. Since 2007, Maureen has applied her efforts to Amador Council of Tourism, passionately and proudly marketing Amador County.
