History

Established in 2009.

I was a laid-​off carpenter in 2008, which motivated me to open Trophy Home Improvements. I am now 50yrs old and I’ve been doing side jobs since I was 22yrs old. Which gave me the knowledge and experience to do just about anything in the trades. I work alone to insure the best quality possible.

Business Owner

Trophy Home Improvements is owned and operated by Ron Heizman. I have lived in Sussex, Wisconsin for over 14 years.

I have over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. I received a Carpentry B.A. degree at M.A.T.C. in Milwaukee. I started out as a rough carpenter followed by becoming a finish carpenter. I was a finish carpenter for over 17 years. For the last several years I have been a kitchen and bath remodeler. Over all my career I have also done hundreds of side jobs. which has given me knowledge and experience in all the trades.

I have become very knowledgeable in my field from all the people I ever worked with and by the multiple training courses I attended. Most of my expertise was obtained by working full time with some of the best carpenters I’ve ever known. My ambition also drove me to do many side-​jobs over the years. Each project I have worked on has taught me invaluable experience that make me the multi talented carpenter that I am today.
