The staff here are either amazingly helpful or they are duds. If they could get some consistency among their employees it would go along way. We choose our home store based off customer service not the price of the products. Every employee should walk you to the isle you need and make sure you find what you’re looking for. Taking that extra 50 steps makes the difference between us wanting to shop at Home Depot and us wanting to shop at Lowe’s.

I have always received great help from Kenny, Norm and Philip. Other employees I have to threaten to call store owners just to get a question answered. This past week I was ignored by an employee and started blocking the aisle until they thought it would be beneficial to help me out.
Don’t fall for the cabinet refacing scheme. They have wasted my time and bailed on the appointment that was set Saturday and confirmed Tuesday a few hours before. When I told them I would not like to reschedule or do business with them the lady just said that’s to bad. I will opt to work with Lowe’s, every employee there is always kind. Not just a handful.

Was moving into a new home. Ordered my wood blinds 1 full month before I needed them and was promised I would have them in two weeks. They are now more than one month late, I have called them 3 times and got a different date each time. No one ever called me from the store to say the blinds would be late — no reason given and best of all — they told me to put cardboard on my Windows until they come. Never again.

Never have things in stock. Asked for a ceiling globe to cover my light as my old one broke. Store didn’t have it, went to Lowe’s they had a wide variety. Advertised a Shamel Ash tree, bought it planted it, it died in 3 months, took tree back as I didn’t have my receipt, person there stated we could look up my bank account to see that I purchased merchandise in store on 5÷7÷15. Worker could not find «SKU». (?) I paid $ 48 plus tax, they wanted to give me a store credit, I told them «NO» I wanted it back in cash or on my debit card. They gave me $ 35 cash back. Drywall for mobile homes, they do not have, Lowe’s does. Will be going to Lowe’s from now on. Lowe’s to date has had everything I’ve needed.

First time to Home Depot is many years as I’ve been a Lowe’s guy for some time. But decided to stop in today for some home project supplies. I was greeted and assisted by several employees. Home Depot is sliding into my new favorite place and doesn’t have the really bad parking lot like Lowes at Bell and Grand.

Horrible experience! A wasted 2 hours renting a truck hey wasted 2 hours renters truck to bring my grill home only to find out there was no ramp and there’s no way for me to place the grill in or out of the truck. That should have been told to me prior not after I’ve paid for everything. I had to have everything backed out it was a mess that should should’ve been avoided had the sales people listened. Listening is a skill and that is one skill lacking with your staff thankfully Walmart listened and they got the business

My last visit at Home Depot. I’m so confused as to why they didn’t put me the customer first. This is my second visit to resolve an issue. Instead of providing a solution for me they were rude and unaccommodating. I had to find my own solution. I will be shopping Lowes where me as a customer will be treated fairly and valued.

As much as I am into renovating and remodeling, I can’t say that this is the store for me. It seems that if I’m in need of something I can never find it here. The store isn’t very organized and the selection is very limited. I think I’ll stick with Lowe’s.

Purchased installed flooring for our entire home from this store and they gave the installers a phone number we asked not to be given out to anyone. I called the store and talked to two people to get some help. Basically they gave me the installers’ number and told me to call the installers and figure it out myself. Condescending on the phone. The lady at the installation company, US Installation, was great and corrected the phone number mix up right away. Home Depot employees should take some customer service training from her. Two stars because Home Depot answered my question satisfactorily but it was minimal and unpleasant.

This store seems to think that during certain times of the day that a traditional checkout isle is not needed and that everyone should go through the self-​checkout. Yes they did have someone there to assist, but they were busy handling issues with the machine. I had a quantity of an item and I wasn’t about to scan each item in individually. Flagged down assistance for that. Then the machine froze. I needed assistance again, but the clerk was helping others who were having issues with the machines and I had to wait. If you’re not going to have a traditional check-​out lane available, then I will take my business across to big blue.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve been going here for over a decade, and I typically need a Home Depot employee to tell me where to find things. Pretty much every single time, they say «I’ll take you there.» And they do!

Great customer service! I purchased light bulbs and when I got home I noticed that one was broke. Drove my happy butt back to the store and the exchange was a breeze.
I didn’t get hassled or questioned. It was a seamless transaction. I was afraid I would get some lip but that wasn’t the case.
We always come here for everything! Home Depot reminds me of jokes mentioned in shows like Modern Family or Will & Grace… «A lesbian’s playground…» Love it lol.

Ken in flooring has been great — the rest of the store is a big zero. Actually, Home Depot is a big zero.
First the store. Never much help to be had — people walk past you without even a hello. Was in there a week or 10 days ago and an obnoxious person in the tool department wandering round screaming out «Anyone need help?» then swearing her head off.
Then there’s the company. We had a delivery from them. They totally ruined our driveway, but then hid behind the fact that we’d signed «for delivery» when we’d actually signed «for delivery and no damage». To top it off, APPARENTLY we’d also signed at some other time (don’t know when as we signed nothing else) to say it was only curbside and no personal damage was covered. Shocking bunch of crooks.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt so ignored in a retail environment. The staff would rather gossip than help customers. The prices are reasonable but the overall experience was horrid. I really can’t explain how poorly I was treated at this location by every department. I will never return to this Home Depot.

I don’t generally care for this store too much. Hard to find someone to help you and the ones you find tend to not make eye contact to avoid helping you. Prefer to shop across the street at Lowes, I think they have better customer service.

Home of Build-​a-​Potted-​Plant! Kind of like Build-​a-​Bear, but with dirt :)
I remember seeing a sign that said if you buy the pot and the flowers they will put it all together for you. That’s my kind of gardening!
I walked around first, then asked an employee if he could recommend the best type of flowering plant for a shaded area. His name, per the apron, was John & he was awesome. First he showed me different types of plants and I picked a favorite, then he had me pick a pot. He walked around with me to find filler plants & then put it all together. He was very knowledgeable and helpful & everyone could see that because he helped at least 4 other people while he was helping me, answering questions and giving suggestions.
Once again, the combination of good variety of items, competitive prices & knowledgeable and helpful staff made this visit enjoyable and productive: D
I got a great potted plant out of it which I know I’ll get to enjoy for a long time!

Not impressed. I will stick to Lowes. I went to a Chiropractor in the same parking lot as Home Depot. I wasn’t even parked anywhere near the Depot. Very windy day and no one was collecting their shopping carts one of them flew into my car and left a huge dent. I brought the cart inside and told them about it and they really didn’t seem to care. they just sent someone outside to get them. So no I have a huge dent in my car.

I love me some Home Depot!!! I can always find what I am looking for, and if I can’t, someone is always 2 steps away and can help me!
The store layout is easy to navigate. It’s as clean as a Home Depot can be. Employees are awesome. I prefer to come here vs Lowes. Ugh. Hate that place.
Find me here at least once a week — usually withy iPod blasting as I breeze through the store finding what I need.
Every first Saturday of the month is a cool kids building mornings. It’s free — again, where Lowes fails, they charge!

Home Depot! The Wal-​Mart of hardware store! They have everything you need, for a decent price. Service can be difficult at times! Especially when they do not secure the lid on the paint!!! But I will still come here at times, and buy whatever I don’t need at the time?
